Opportunity Calls is the first title in the Chinavare's Find series. Random Arthur Hause, a history teacher/baseball coach trades in his teaching career and sets out on a quest to do something meaningful. Challenges is the second book in the Chinavare's Find series. Newly promoted Captain Random Arthur Hause, a former history teacher/baseball coach, finds himself at the center of the explosion as events on Echo World spin out of control. He and his new partner, Miss Eileen Sands become the leaders of the newly rebellious Off-world forces in a fight for independence. They discover that dancing, as a marionette is preferable to dying. As Random and Eileen engage, along with the rest of the human community, in another unwanted war, they add a new collection of friends, including Colonel Richard Schoenfeldt and Andrew "Ike" Eicherman. Through the help of Schoenfeldt and Eicherman, Random and Eileen are able to find the manpower and resources to defend their newly created Savannah Protectorate. The price for failure is obvious. Downward Leg is the fourth title in the Chinavare's Find series. Random Arthur Hause, a former History teacher, discovers that fighting and winning a war does not resolve the issues that brought about the war in the first place. Under his leadership, the recently formed Commonwealth of Savannah has fought and won the Off-world War of Independence. Now he must lead the Peace Conference to formalize Off-world's independence and to legitimize the Off-world government. On the way to the Conference, he learns that humans are not the only sentient beings sharing the multiverse and that the War of Independence was simply a small part of a much larger conflict that has been raging for centuries. Until he finds a way to resolve the issues triggering the wider conflict, humanity itself is in danger. He must stop a war that has raged for centuries and torn two advanced civilizations apart. Random leads the Commonwealth of Savannah's forces and his growing list of companions to Ulrich, to reinvigorate a ruined University and use it to create a site where members of the new alliance can live together and learn about one another. On Ulrich, he learns that the military portion of the conflict is less important than the internal war going on for his self control.

Distant Horizons is the third book in the Chinavare's Find series. How do you stop a war that is officially over?
