    Mr. Gray’s Zombie Hunting Manual

    A little history

Zombies, as they are currently referred to, are not the living dead, or walking dead, or any kind of dead for that matter. They first came on the scene in 2017. A freak radiation leak spread throughout the world, causing a mutagenic reaction in brain cells.

These reactions caused most parts of the human brain to malfunction or cease functioning altogether. Humans were not the only ones affected. Some other mammals were also affected. These included small rodents, dogs, cats, hogs, horses and so forth. At any rate, brains were affected adversely. It’s a shame these things never make people better…only ever worse.

    Behavioral changes

Zombies do not think. They do not reason, and cannot be reasoned with. When talking to someone who is changing, one might think that the pre-zombie is exhibiting signs of dementia. This is not totally inaccurate. While the brain is in the process of breaking down, the afflicted will begin losing short term memory, using misleading logic, and look for things which may or may not exist.

After memory loss, the afflicted will have no choice but to rely on the most basic, most ingrained, habitual behavior. A former chef may be seen hanging around food. A former musician might be seen just holding a guitar. Any experience they had, any talent, will be gone at this point.

Soon after, the afflicted will fall into feral patterns. They will hunt for food. They will eat anything alive, dead, found, whatever. The important factor is the hunting. They will hunt you. Lucky for us normies, zombies are slow and stupid. They are, however, surprisingly efficient.

    Physical changes

The first thing to change is the tongue. If your new girly has a gray tongue, she won’t be using it for pleasure. Most of the time, the gray tongue and dementia come on simultaneously. The next physical change is motor skills. As I mentioned earlier, they are slow, they are also unable to handle things well. They are uncoordinated and cannot run fast. Really, they just hobble or drag their feet, but some have been known to move well, at least in comparison to most modern people; sad, but true.

The next change is a sort of physical deformation. Zombies, which have existed since the
