"You are the dreamer of the world of dreams.

No other cause it has, nor ever will."

Without help, it is almost impossible to accept the unreality of the world you see, let alone that you are its dreamer. There is tremendous resistance to the thought of being responsible for dreaming up such a world. And there is also tremendous freedom.

As a projection of what is in our mind, the world reflects a belief that we are separate bodies, living independent lives. But that is not our reality. The willingness to undo the belief in separation, by changing our minds, is the beginning of the end of the dream. The Alpha and the Omega.

The three women you’ll meet in this book had studied A Course in Miracles for many years without really understanding what it means to be the dreamer until they asked, if not demanded, to see the world differently. Once their request was made, help came in the form of a Voice, and they each began hearing the Holy Spirit speak. His message was clear . . . they were dreaming, and it was time to wake up to their true Self.

A happy dream precedes your full awakening. In order for that to happen, you must be willing to see everyone as yourself—as your dream characters—and also as the Christ Self that you share with the Holy Spirit. This knowing is essential in order to awaken from the dream world and know that you are One With God.

The extended quote from A Course in Miracles:

You are the dreamer of the world of dreams. No other cause it has, nor ever will. Nothing more fearful than an idle dream has terrified God’s Son, and made him think that he has lost his innocence, denied his Father, and made war upon himself. So fearful is the dream, so seeming real, he could not waken to reality without the sweat of terror and a scream of mortal fear, unless a gentler dream preceded his awaking, and allowed his calmer mind to welcome, not to fear, the Voice that calls with love to waken him; a gentler dream, in which his suffering was healed and where his brother was his friend. God willed he waken gently and with joy, and gave him the means to waken without fear (Text-27.VII.13:1-5).

An Important Note to the Reader

The eighty messages in One With God were dictated to Marjorie Tyler (Margie/mt) beginning in February 2013, on Maui, where she resides. Margie is no different from anyone else, being a symbol of the light we all carry, as the one Self. Each message begins with a quote, taken from the content of that particular instruction, to help focus the mind before reading.

One With God reflects the teachings of A Course in Miracles (ACIM) and brings the reader to the experience of the Course’s underlying message . . . to awaken from the dream of separation through communication with the Holy Spirit. As in A Course in Miracles, One With God uses masculine pronouns for God and Spirit, and most often uses brother to describe humanity. In contrast to the structure of ACIM, this book gives examples of issues and concerns that arise in everyday life and explains how they can be correctly interpreted. The experiences of Margie, and her friends Joann and Margaret (called Jo and Meera in the book), are primarily used to demonstrate how to access the Holy Spirit’s Voice, ask for His help, and receive His guidance. These three women are referred to as the three listeners in their biographies, which appear at the end of the book.

One With God is predominately written with words from the Holy Spirit, and they appear without quotation marks. The exception is when His words are being quoted by one of the listeners. When Margie, Jo, or Meera speak to the Holy Spirit, their words are in italics, unless they are sharing an email, a dream, or a reflection. Parentheses indicate a sidebar to the reader. Dreams are Margie’s unless otherwise noted. When the word you appears, it’s meant for everyone, even when referring to Margie/mt. The ego mind will interpret some words as controversial and inconsistent, but words are symbols of symbols. Let them be and read between the lines.

Margie is currently scribing the last book in a series of ten. Each book is intended to take the reader further, into a deeper understanding of the Truth. The journey begins now.

The Holy Spirit Speaks

Holy Spirit, what do You say? It was destined that you, Margie—as My scribe—and your friends Jo and Meera, would come together, as nothing in this illusory world is left to chance. You have known each other for many lifetimes—in ancient times and in your lifetimes with Jesus. Each of you had an unspoken, unacknowledged role in My journey as Jesus, My manifestation. It was the one lifetime that seared your hearts for the longing to come to Me as the Holy Spirit—your Christ Self. You three have searched for Me under many names and forms: Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, and others too numerous to name. You were determined to know Me as the Source of all that is, the Way to God, and the True Self.

I accompanied each of you from the beginning of this lifetime, placing you in families that were perfect to support your way to Me. Meera had to be born of Jewish parents, where she could fall in love with the silence and peace of the synagogue. Jo had to come from the limited beliefs of Lutheranism that suppressed freedom of spiritual thought and exploration, yet in a family where she would receive support from her father’s spiritual open-mindedness and her mother’s love of Jesus. And you, Margie, had to grow up in a liberal Protestant family, where your parents were pillars of the church, and you had a deep desire to know Me. The coming together of the three of you took place in its own unique way, which each of you describe in your individual stories. You used your relationships with each other to join in the intention to find My Voice, which for you, Margie, happened in 2012.

The repeated injunction to ask for My guidance has led to more trust in My constant Presence for the three of you. You have learned that I will answer fully every question you ask, and you’ve learned over time that My answers might change as situations change. I have given you each exactly what you were able to handle in the moment you asked. It is only this—the constant asking for My Presence and My Voice—that has substantially transformed your lives. This will continue to unfold until the moment you are ready to be lifted by God into Heaven. I have been with all of you—in your mind—since the beginning of time and will remain there for eternity. We are One with God.

Messages from the Holy Spirit

Waking Up

Each morning when you wake up, take a moment to remember Me and state your intention to remain with Me throughout the day.

We are at the beginning of our journey like a newborn babe whose world is hazy and undifferentiated. It has no language or context to know or describe what it sees. This is the state of one newly awakened to My Presence. It won’t make sense yet. You still see the world of things as concrete. But soon, those same things will take on a different quality, one that reflects My soft embrace.

This morning I gave you, mt, a dream in which your childhood Christmas stocking had the name Jesus, instead of your own name, embroidered on the toe. Seeing that stocking filled you with such comfort and peace, you felt assured that I am with you everywhere, that I am you. Everything you see going forward will have that feeling. It will be a reflection of Me, and you will know that it is Me, just as you are Me from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.

As we go forward, each new day will bring gifts from Me wrapped in that very Christmas stocking, gifts of the birth of Christ in you. You will feel tears of gratitude when you recognize these gifts everywhere . . . the autumn leaves at your feet, the coo of the dove, even the sounds of traffic and the children calling in the corridor outside your condo. Everything that surrounds you, without exception, is My Voice, My Essence.

Each morning when you wake up, take a moment to remember Me and state your intention to remain with Me throughout the day—to hear My Voice and see My face in everyone and everything around you. I will help you remember by giving you My vision and My hearing. The first step, and it is a big one, is to open your heart. The restrictions the ego has placed on enjoyment are now lifted. The soft joy of your life is before you.

We are equal partners and will approach each day as a unit, becoming one Voice. Our partnership might feel like putting on a new skin, as you are reborn into My wondrous world. It will take time to get your bearings and move into this new state. You will have questions and doubts along the way. This is to be expected. Each time you have concern, call on Me. I am closer than your breath and I will bring you back to peace.

Every morning, as we go forth into the light of day, let us think of the light that lights all our lives. The world is made of light. Everything is, in its essence, this light, and light is the basis of all you see. The world of duality takes form as light and shadow. The Light is the Self, and the shadow, ego. As the ego diminishes, the light of Self will become brighter, and you will begin to recognize that it is your own light. Everything reflects the light of Self back to you.

Seeing this will take time, but as you continue to attend to My Voice you will awaken more and more to My Light. Things that have been seen as evil and suffering will be recognized simply as distorted images of light. When light is veiled the world appears dark and suspicious. As the fear in you disappears, you will look on everything with eyes of acceptance. Soon you will understand that everything in the universe is created solely for you to know that only love exists. Each adversity, each tragedy is also a gift that can return you to Me.

Look at each suffering in your life and see the blessings hidden beneath it. When your eyes are closed, it is dark. Now you are awakening. It has been a long sleep, one that began at the beginning of time, the moment you chose to go out on your own, leaving the lawns of Heaven to find your own field of play. Like a newborn, you had no idea of the consequences of your action. When you entered the dream of separation, the light in you was forgotten. You also forgot your heavenly origin, even though you could have remembered it at any moment, simply by opening your eyes to Me. But by then, you believed you were living in a real world, inhabiting a real body, and that the brain of your body was your guide and the source of your intelligence. You didn’t know you were being driven by the ego—sometimes called the devil; the illusion that has been running your life and ruling your body and mind since time began.

Now, day-by-day, I will help you awaken from the dream and lead you back to the gates of Heaven, where God will lift you unto Himself and you will be reunited with Him. There is a ways to go and I will be with you all the way.

Fantasy of Separation

When a relationship becomes stressful,

the belief in the separation from God is being reenacted.

There is nothing but the One God. As you release each layer that is blocking God’s Light you will understand this. These layers have been accumulating for eons, since the so-called beginning of time. That beginning was not real. It was a fantasy of separation, a thought that arose about what it might be like to be a separate entity and play on your own. Even in the moment of that thought, it was already corrected by God through the Holy Spirit.

Now you are awakening to the origin of what you call life on earth and believe is real. It is not. It is your mind imagining what it would be like to be separated from God and on your own. In truth, the separation never happened. You have always been and will always be united with God. As the Holy Spirit, I am the messenger of God to help you awaken and correct every mistake you believe you have made. Whenever you have fear, doubt, or anger to any extent, I am here to remind you that none of these is real. You are completely whole and innocent. The path to reach this place of knowing is different for each seeming individual. You, and your friends Jo and Meera, came to awakening by looking deeply at every thought or image that appeared to be an obstacle—anything or anyone that prevented you from realizing that the only reality is your divine Self. Until you were willing to accept that all the difficulties in your life were just opportunities to see your mistaken choice for the ego, you could not make the decision to come to Me instead.

All upsets must be experienced directly and seen for what they are—thoughts that trigger the original imagined separation from God, which produce feelings of loss and fear. The resulting state of mind makes it easy to blame others for their actions in order to escape your own guilt for leaving. Every time you feel upset, look with Me at its cause—you have chosen the ego’s voice. This world is nothing but a creation of your own ego mind, a dream that you believe will protect you from the wrath of God. But God is not angry. The realization that you can never separate from Him is deeply repressed. The ego, through self-hatred and blindness to your innocence, keeps you in bondage.

The anticipation of God’s retaliation for your sin produces a level of terror that must be projected onto others in order for you to preserve what you believe is your sanity. This fear is experienced as special love or special hate toward your special relationships—the most important, energetically active relationships in your life—your immediate family, friends, and teachers. When a relationship becomes stressful, the belief in the separation from God is being reenacted. With strong intentions and the will to go beyond the dis-ease, the three of you have inspected and dissected these disturbances. Deep in your soul, you long to return to God’s Love and are finally becoming aware that It is always with you at the core of your Being.

Holy Spirit, is this from You? Yes, mt. Is this what You wanted to write today? Yes, today’s message is about unity with Me. This is the beginning of the explanation of the original separation, and it is important for the reader to understand. Rest assured, I am giving you these words and they are Mine. This is My intention.

Projection Makes Perception

When all projections are reclaimed, there is nothing left but God.

It is important to understand projection as part of the journey to Me. Projection is the basic force operating in the dream, and it is what creates the dream of separation. You have been working with it for many years and understand it well. It was part of your training in Freudian psychology.

In the beginning, the one Son of God had a thought that he would like to have an experience of being on his own. In that very instant, a belief arose in his mind that demanded he project a world that would be different and separate from the unity he experienced with God, and immediately it became a reality. Using the power of the Mind of God, his now separated mind created and then perceived a separate existence which, in order to be known and recognized, required an other to reflect his world back to him. An image of the other was created, and that image became the object of the Son’s projected thoughts of fear, doubt, and self-loathing that arose from this choice to separate from God.

In truth, the Son never left God, nor could he. By the tricks of the split mind, he believed that the world he had created was real, but it was only a dream, which was then reified in his mind until the time he would awaken from it. The dream appears to last for lifetimes, eons, but actually, it was already over the instant it was imagined.

To perpetuate this dream, you need a partner, an other, to make it real. The other becomes the special one onto whom the horror of being separated from God is projected, because the self-hatred caused by this unconscious, mistaken belief is so great.
