    Rachel Kemet is a successful Assistant District Attorney living in Tampa. Engaged to one of the wealthiest men in town, her future seems assured. That is until her past comes back to haunt her.       La protagonista muy torpe, pero me gusto que metieron a su amiga lesbiana y que ese fiance que tenia y su familia eran unos lunaticos. Pero si la recomiendo mas que nada por Richard.

      I’m not so sure about the mating in beast form

      I really tried. I really tried, but the fact that the lead character Rachel ends up being a narcissist who is hung-up on her mommy issues. Never once after she reunites with Richard and finds out the fate of not only her father but also who she is, does she say "OMG, my horrible mother who kidnapped me from my father caused him to kill himself." No!! It's always "Mommy said to stay away from Richard and not think about the past."

      When she finds out she can save Richard from his curse, does she say "I'm there, bro." Nope, the selfish ho keeping telling him that they are siblings even though she knows they aren't and definitely doesn't feel that way about him. She keeps letting him suffer and telling him she doesn't want him and that she doesn't believe anything he says, though if she thought about it she would realize her mother basically killed her father with her own selfishness and inability to accept who she was. I guess it's daughter like mother. I got through this story more frustrated with her character and how she treated others. Never thinking with her brain just with what society says or mommy says. No really character growth, just more of a realization at the end. What a let down
