Introduction to Feng Shui Tips: Home Renovations
WHY I WROTE THIS BOOK
Power to enrich life from the inside out.
After a few decades of being in one of the largest consumeristic industries in the world – Design and Construction, I realized that although I adored design, I did not enjoy the buying and destroying cycle which was the standard practice of the industry. However, during the renovation process, I was introduced to the concept of transformation, which has led me on a path to where I am today.
The sheer fact that I was in the middle of something that did not resonate with my core purpose forced me to discover a new way to use my skills in a manner that did represent my authentic approach to design – so I transformed. I surmised that renovations were more than just a transformation of a physical space from one style, shape, size or color to another. Throughout the process, I witnessed the inner transformations of the people involved in these renovations time and time again. I have had clients start to play the piano again after 20 years, decide to have a second child, start their own businesses, and run a marathon. These changes are powerful to witness, and I have felt honored to be a participant in the process of these transformations.
This was when I knew I was going to make a difference in the world through my holistic approach to the design, construction and renovation experiences. I added to my toolkit an ancient practice –Feng Shui – that also recognized this inner connection. It helped me to transform my Interior Architectural and Design practice into a holistic, transformative approach to space design that was created to help people navigate the tricky business of Renovations with skill and grace for the best results on the interior as well as the exterior.
Feng Shui is an ancient practice that creates the mindful arrangement of an individual’s space. The balance and harmony between our internal and external environments is the main purpose of Feng Shui. It is a combination of ancient Chinese Taoist culture, Buddhism, and modern science/design used to work with our natural world to maximize our individual potential. My formal training was under the care of Grand Master Professor Thomas Lin Yun’s teachings in the Black Sect, which transforms the fundamental principles of ancient Feng Shui philosophy into a method that is applicable to the modern world.
My intention is to share with you the secrets of how to allow your Home Renovation to be a transformative process for you and your family in a manner that you can understand and follow to provide the greatest benefit.
WHY YOU SHOULD GET THIS EBOOK
What is the quality of your intent?
Our world is changing at an ever-increasing rate. The amount of knowledge we are consuming on a daily basis is equal to the same quantity our grandparents got in their lifetime. This inflow of information is continuing, and it is estimated that we are only in the middle of the information age.
The expansion of our appetite for having it all is a result of the constant barrage of information we are exposed to. Media in general introduces us to all the best things in life, expanding our appetites to levels never experienced previously.
Another result of the input of information is the recognition that having a great space can enhance your life. I am thrilled that this information has become mainstream and that most people are aware of the importance of a great space.
It is thought that if you have a beautiful home, you will have a beautiful life. The belief that you can improve your life by surrounding yourself with a prettier space is demonstrated in the media all the time – on TV, in books, magazines and even in stores. You understand that you will be healthier, happier, have more money, make love more often, and of course just be a better, nicer and happier person if your space is better for you, more functional and prettier to look at.
You heard this, you believe this, and now there is only one BIG question:
How do you get there as quickly, smoothly and peacefully as possible without losing money, time or your sanity?
In Feng Shui Tips: Home Renovations, I share a process with you for how to avoid the most disastrous mistakes that are always made on construction projects. I guide you through a step-by-step process of how to consciously move forward into the direction of your dreams without the fear or doubt of making nasty mistakes that will result in either a loss of money, a space that does not work, or a stress level that destroys your well-being.
I share with you secrets that I have gathered from completing literally hundreds of renovation projects so you can enjoy the lessons learned from my blood, sweat and tears without having to expend these yourself.
