      In consideration of this, Psalm 119: 105 stands out when we read that God's Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.

      Light to Step Right is a book that has been written to be read over ten days and is a blend of encouraging God inspired thoughts and has a framework of some practical Christian teachings, both of which, empowers Believers to be able to go to the next level in their relationship and walk with God.

      It is my prayer that as you read this book that the eyes of your understanding would be enlightened and that you go from strength to strength and glory to glory in your relationship and walk with God your Heavenly Father.

      Day 1

      God has observed and reserved you

      Jeremiah 1:5, Before I formed thee in the womb I knew thee…

      Take a moment to think about this:

      God says, before I formed you in the womb, I knew you.

      God knew you, before you were even born. The word, ‘before’, tells you that God had fore-knowledge concerning you and it also speaks of purpose and destiny.

      We all need to understand that in life there are some things which have both purpose and destiny and there are some things in life that has purpose which leads you towards your destiny. God created you with a specific purpose and destiny that only you can fulfil.

      Your purpose is the original intent that God had when God created you. Since then, God has not changed His mind concerning the purpose for which He created you. This purpose that you was created for, will guide you to your predetermined destined end (destiny). Together with this, God equips you for your purpose and destiny and then God presents to you the opportunity (the main purpose behind something) to fulfil your God purpose and God destiny for your life.

      Before going any further, consider a few thoughts concerning destiny. That which God has destined for you, you cannot lose. You can walk away and even at times run from your destiny but you don’t lose it. What do I mean by this? Consider Samson for example; he walked away from his God purpose and God destiny for his life and it resulted in him losing his eyes and being taken captive by the enemy but when he repented and came back to God and to the original God plan for his life, God restored Samson’s strength and Samson was able to destroy the Philistines by bringing down the building. (See Judges 16:28-30.

      Even when we turn or even walk away from the God purpose and the God destiny for our lives, God is rich in mercy towards us (see Psalms 68:5). God allows us, for a short period of time to repent and come back to God and His original plan for our lives. I would encourage you to say ‘Yes’ to God and His perfect will (His original intent and God plan) for your life.

      Sometimes when you turn away from your destiny, it can result in you being taken captive by the enemy and even result in loss. Don’t run away from God and your God ordained purpose and destiny, but rather, run to God and let God’s perfect will be done in your life. How do you know what is your purpose and destiny? The answer is simply,
