    When student of folklore and mathematics Walter Gilman moves into an attic flat in an infamous and purportedly cursed house, he begins experiencing strange dreams that include inexplicable colours and shapes. As his dreams grow progressively more vivid and sinister, he comes into contact with a variety of beings who manipulate him into performing terrible tasks—tasks which he would come to realise were not as disconnected to reality as he first believed. Forming part of the Cthulhu Mythos cycle, "The Dreams in the Witch House" is highly recommended for fans of horror fiction and is not to be missed by those who have read and enjoyed other works by Lovecraft. Howard Phillips Lovecraft (1890–1937) was an American writer of supernatural horror fiction. Though his works remained largely unknown and did not furnish him with a decent living, Lovecraft is today considered to be among the most significant writers of supernatural horror fiction of the twentieth century. Other notable works by this author include: “At The Mountains of Madness”, “The Rats in the Walls”, and “The Shadow Over Innsmouth”.
