About this ebook
Ever suspected if Commentaries and Bible teaching on the Book of Hebrews were missing something in the message the author wanted to convey? Ever suspected it was written for a greater purpose than to explain the better things of the New Covenant? John Corin believes there is an understanding of the letter that needs to be unveiled for the endtimes. From a teaching ministry of more than forty years in Bible Colleges and Churches, in this exposition you will learn how the typology of the Feast of Tabernacles found in the letter reveals a glorious hope for believers in Christ at the end. The hope of finally reaching maturity because of a final installment of salvation at the end. an outpouring of the Spirit that has been 'reserved in heaven' for those who are willing to pay the price of qualification.
While skirting the heretical teaching of 'sinless perfection', you will learn there is every reason to hope for a maturity of character and ability that will give you victory over what has kept you ashamed and discouraged for too long, the 'law of sin and death'. The same glorious hope Paul speaks of that promises sin and death will be overcome in our mortal bodies before their resurrection. The ungodly will finally have the powerful witness to the gospel and truth they have always craved.
John Corin
John Corin was born in 1943 in Wellington, New Zealand and is the great grandson of the founders of the Methodist church in the suburb where his family lived. After his conversion at age seventeen in 1960 he returned to the church of his Sunday School years to become an active member as well as serve in Youth for Christ and Open Air Campaigners. He was baptized in the Spirit in 1961 under the ministry of Rob Wheeler, a Pentecostal Evangelist, and eventually joined the fledgling Independent Pentecostal assembly founded after the crusade. In 1974 he married Dulcie and in 1977 relocated with their daughter Deborah, to Auckland, New Zealand and Pastor Wheeler’s church. He served there as a Home Group Leader and lecturer in the night time Bible College until 1981 when after a career of 15 years as a retail Pharmacist he was appointed Dean of Studies for the full time Bible College. He administered this college for three years during which he was ordained into the ministry as a pastor/elder in Auckland Christian Fellowship. In 1985 John was invited with his family, now with two more children (Zoe and Christopher) to be the Dean of Studies in Hebron Bible College, in Perth, Western Australia under the auspices of Shiloh Faith Centre and Pastor Frank Hultgren. This tenure lasted for nine years with the final year as Principal of the College. Throughout these years he was on the staff of the church as a Pastoral Counsellor and at different times Music Director and Missions Secretary. He resigned all positions in 1993 when asked to be the inaugural Dean at the Perth campus of Tabor College, an independent Charismatic educational facility founded by Dr Barry Chant and Dennis Slape. At this time he completed a B.A in Ministry and after serving as Dean and then Registrar and lecturer at Tabor for three years, resigned in 1995. With his wife Dulcie, in 2000 he founded FairHavens Prayer Counselling (Inc), an independent ministry of inner healing and deliverance to serve the churches of Perth and Western Australia. He is now retired from all active service but continues to write books out of his years of ministry.
