About this ebook

This is part of a series of books in which particular verses are picked from books of the bible, and the issues of Spiritual Identity are explored, in the light of the mind of God for us.
In this book, we explore six topics, from different verses in the book of John. They are: The right to become sons; Delegated authority; The measure of your value; Eternal life; The divine Prerogative; and A kingdom not of this world.
Excerpts:
The right to become sons
“It is a new order of being fitted with the equipment of a new spirit through Jesus (John 3:1-8), otherwise, everything else is a joke, because God is Spirit and you can’t change that.”
Delegated authority
“Thirdly, shared authority also means shared power, shared resources. God usually funds his projects; if a project you are pursuing is starved of funds, people, workable ideas, and results, it’s most likely that Jesus has not shared his authority with you in that area.”
The measure of your value
“Your value is also in the security around you. In verse John 10:29, Jesus assures of your preciousness when he said it is the father himself who assures that you are not plucked away from his hand. No one is capable of touching you. The president of a nation commands arguably the best resources when it comes to security because to that country he is very valuable. To God you are very valuable and he trust no one with you security but himself. Permanently guaranteeing that you would not be lost, stolen or harmed, that you are preserved. You are so valuable nothing is allowed to shift you in your security in the love of God, which is unfailing over you.”
Eternal life
“Nevertheless God has appointed you to bear fruit, which is the divine prerogative. You don’t need to struggle to attain it, just ensure that you are close to Christ with the priority of seeking him in constant deep fellowship, which is your own prerogative.”
The divine Prerogative
“Nevertheless God has appointed you to bear fruit, which is the divine prerogative. You don’t need to struggle to attain it, just ensure that you are close to Christ with the priority of seeking him in constant deep fellowship, which is your own prerogative.”

A kingdom not of this world
“What are you giving the people, which is more than they can get from the government in welfare, get from the society in business opportunity, or more than they can get in a good management school? You should give them what is out of this world. They don’t want to be made comfortable, but be stretched beyond the confines of their senses. That is where the kingdom is.”
