      The Babies

      The love that God has for us is truly amazing. This spring I went to the hospital to visit a newborn that was birthed with complications. As I stepped out of the elevator into the baby unit, I saw lots of angels guarding the lobby area.

      Yes, there were angels in the lobby that were protecting the babies from evil. As I proceeded down the hallway there were more angels protecting the babies.

      This baby unit was the most fortified institution I have ever seen. I have been on tours of the Federal Reserve Bank and the Chicago Board of Trade. However, even their level of security was nothing in comparison to the strength and power of these warring angels.

      The babies there were experiencing Heaven on earth. It was wonderful to see the love of God in operation surrounding and enveloping these babies. These little ones are so precious to God.

      When I was in the room with the baby I went to visit, I saw a different type of angel than the ones mentioned earlier. These were ministering angels that loved on the babies unconditionally.

      These ministering angels demonstrated the profound love of God for each of His children. To see those angels ministering to the children on God’s behalf was priceless. I could do almost nothing but weep, as I saw and experienced such compassion.

      The unseen is so real and present. Many discount the reality of supernatural encounters and experiences. Angels are with us continually demonstrating the love of God in our lives. They are protecting and going before us to prepare a space in time that we will arrive in. Without our knowledge angels may change the daily outcomes of our routines many times in the course of our day.

      There are many things God does for us supernaturally that we tend to overlook. As we examine our lives just about each of us can think of something that happened for our good that should not have happened. Most often we consider it a miracle. A miracle is a supernatural act beyond human ability. The supernatural is where God reveals himself on our behalf.

      How is this Possible?

      It was finding God and not religion that made all the difference in my life. As I continued to grow in relationship with God I began to experience a love and sense of belonging that I never previously experienced. The more I spent time getting to know God the more I learned of His loving and caring nature. Spending time with God became the highlight of my day.

      One day I decided to spend the entire night with God through prayer and fellowship. It was an amazing experience for me, so I decided to have all night prayer and fellowship as often as I could. When I began to share my experiences with individuals who appeared to be devout Christians, they thought I was crazy.

      I quickly learned that not everyone who attends church has a love affair with God. It blew me away when I learned that very few people would even consider staying up all night or spend so called long amounts of time with God.

      This is one real thing I know! A relationship with God exceeds all the pleasures and enjoyments the world can offer. The more time I spend with God, the more I know He loves me, treasures me, desires me, and has great plans for my life.

      It was through relationship with God that I overcame heartbreak, depression, rejection, fear of the unknown, abandonment, loneliness, sickness, and scarcity. God is more than enough if we will allow Him to be I Am that I Am. God is the creator of ALL and yet many despise and neglect the opportunity to spend time with God.

      For many years I thought God was some old grumpy guy that was out to punish me as soon as I upset Him. My first impressions of God was so far from the truth! God is really kind, patient, caring, loving, forgiving, humorous, and compassionate.

      It was through spending time with God that I fell in love with the Bible.
