    Cheryl Rogers

    Former journalist Cheryl Rogers writes around the edges of farming and family life in the Swan Valley, near Perth. Her short fiction has been published in Australia, the UK and USA, and she is a three time winner of the Henry Lawson Society of New South Wales short story award. In 1998, a memoir co-written with fellow University of Western Australia graduate and friend, Gun Dolva, was short-listed for the WA Premier’s Book of the Year Award. A longtime member of Sisters in Crime (Australia), Cheryl loves a mystery.

      Meet the Pro

      Cheryl Rogers published her first book in print in 2008. Since then, she digitally published that book and 23 others. A writer at heart, Cheryl enjoys being creative – and usually has several books in the mill.

      She holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Sociology and has worked as both a staff writer and freelancer. She writes both fiction and nonfiction, most of it as the fifth grade level as she was trained in Journalism School. Her goal is to reach all readers, enabling them to read and understand her books easily.
