    How to Make Peanut Butter Soup with Chicken

    Ingredients:

    Servings: 6-8

    Natural peanut butter (creamy), net weight 16 oz. Use half for 8 servings

    1 whole hen chicken

    2 fresh tomatoes

    Pepper (fresh/powdered)

    1 can (15 ounces) of tomato sauce

    1 ½ onions

    Peanut butter

    Salt to taste

    Spices of your choice

    4 fresh mushrooms or crushed mushrooms (optional)

    Okra (optional)

    Preparation:

    Cut the chicken: use medium sized cuts.

    Rinse the chicken pieces and place in the soup pot.

    In the soup pot, combine the chicken, fresh tomatoes, crushed mushrooms, one whole peeled onion, pepper, salt and spices together.

    Additionally, blend ½ of an onion. Add the onion paste to the soup and steam the chicken for 20 minutes.

    While the soup is cooking extract the tomatoes and onion. Blend them together and pour them over the chicken.

    Take half of the peanut butter, add a small amount of water to it. Stir it until smooth and heat for 5 minutes to get excess oil out and enhance the flavor.

    Cook it on medium heat to prevent overflow.
