      Dance my African child

      To the staggered drumbeats that thumps in your veins,

      Echoing in your heart and ringing in your head.

      Dance my beautiful one

      To the beckoning that roused feverish gyrations,

      In your sturdy limbs, bringing a bright twinkle in your eyes.

      Dance my Nubian princess

      To the bird, that sings beneath your breasts,

      That causes quivers in the concave pits of your belly, weaving a smile on your full lips.
