Introduction
Thirty years ago, I left the Chicago area to live in Sarasota, FL. I remember so clearly the excitement of starting a new life. And, a great life it has been.
As we drove through Texas to spend our last night in the Unites States, I found myself in the same place. I was so excited about new places to see, new people to meet, and most of all, new opportunities.
This time it was harder to leave the friends that became family; those that will forever hold a place in our hearts.
Our new home will soon be Mexico. Once again, we hope to bring with us only our best and to leave behind all that we no longer wish to carry.
Throughout this book, you will read about never taking negative emotions from one relationship to the next. Moving from one place to another, the same applies, even if your move is across town or from one job to the next.
This book is filled with quotes–most are mine, a few are of Mahatma Gandhi and a few are just quotes that I
