    It is a small collection of HAPPY DAYS in HAPPY'S LIFE but I would like to inspire everyone to just pen out their thoughts. This book is dedicated to everyone who has supported me in my DREAMS!

    This book was inspired after writing about HAPPY, the character, in my first book HAPPY GO LUCKY. Subsequently, I came up with HAPPY GO LUCKY 2.

    Then I thought about HAPPY has some memorable HAPPY DAYS in his life, so why not just write something FUN and see where it takes me.

    Sometimes, just by sitting around, enjoying a cup of tea or coffee can allow us to see the stuffs we can be happy and grateful for.

      WHY DO I WRITE THIS BOOK

      This book was inspired after writing about HAPPY, the character, in my first book HAPPY GO LUCKY. Subsequently, I came up with HAPPY GO LUCKY 2.

      Then I thought about HAPPY has some memorable HAPPY DAYS in his life, so why not just write something FUN and see where it takes me.

      Sometimes, just by sitting around, enjoying a cup of tea or coffee can allow us to see the stuffs we can be happy and grateful for.

      It is a small collection but I would like to inspire people to just pen out their thoughts. This book is dedicated to everyone who has supported me in my DREAMS!

      HAPPY DAY – PASSING THE SWIMMING TEST

      HAPPY was in Secondary 3 when he finally had the courage to go for swimming classes. He was procrastinating for years since young. Some of the lies became so REAL that HAPPY believed in it! Of course, when he was much younger and probably about 5 to 6 years old, he had a near-death experience when he was out swimming in the deep blue sea off EAST COAST PARK in SINGAPORE. That experience coupled with cramps in both legs, caused HAPPY to be FEARFUL of going near WATER since young.

      In CONTRAST, HAPPY enjoyed drinking WATER. His mum would make him drink 12 cups of WATER a day, just to prevent any dehydration. Of course, in SINGAPORE, it is almost 30 degrees Celsius all year round, you can get a minor heat stroke if you stay outdoors all day. So it helps to drink lots of WATER! Plus the WATER straight from the tap is safe for drinking without the need to boil it.

      Here comes the surprise, HAPPY was out with friends in a Birthday party when he was 12 and he entered the pool by chance. Someone (he shall be un-named here) pushed HAPPY into the pool while they were running around. HAPPY DRANK LOTS OF WATER and that certainly wasn’t ENJOYABLE at all!

      When you combine these two unpleasant memories for HAPPY, he simply don’t want to be near any WATER for swimming.

      HAPPY tried to avoid swimming in the compulsory swimming classes for ALL SECONDARY 1 students. He has itchy fingers, and actually inserted these fingers into his ear to allow an ear infection to take place. HAPPY has a big fear of water entering into his ears; he was wondering how anyone can be able to HEAR AGAIN after WATER enters into the ears! Perhaps, unknown to HAPPY at that age was the idea of babies actually lived inside WATER when they were in the wombs of their mothers.

      SO yes HAPPY survived NOT taking the COMPULSORY SWIMMING CLASSES in SECONDARY 1, missing out quite a lot of FUN as his classmates jump into the pool, splashing WATER on each other and playing water games after the SWIMMING CLASSES at the nearby public swimming pool. It is even more FUN than swimming with parents! Nothing beats playing in the POOL with your classmates!

      And in the end, he was FORCED to take up SWIMMING in SECONDARY 3, at the age of 15. EVERYONE taking the swimming classes are YOUNGER THAN HIM. Well, surprisingly, that PUSH factor actually allowed HAPPY to overcome his fear! HAPPY DIPPED HIS HEAD INTO THE WATER in the first swimming lesson, and he could still HEAR after that! All these years, we wonder how HAPPY CAN HAVE A GOOD SHOWER AT HOME without the water entering his ears!

      Once HAPPY overcame there, the rest is EASY. TODAY IS THE ASSESSMENT Day, and of course he has been swimming happily over the last 9 lessons! And he got his SWIMMING CERTIFICATE. It was a BRONZE level.

      HAPPY DAY – WINNING THE BEST SELLER IN SINGAPORE

      This is truly a delightful day where HAPPY was having issues SLEEPING the night before and enjoy a good night rest. He tried meditation but he is just too excited! What a MAGICAL MOMENT to receive the AWARD FOR BEST SELLER in SINGAPORE – HAPPY GO LUCKY! Many people keep calling HAPPY as HAPPY GO LUCKY after he came up with this
