      Chapter 1

      Do You Believe?

      James 2:19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that and shudder.

      Why do so many people believe there is a God, but don’t really trust in him? Well, my belief is that, they only want to have trust in Him, when things are going good or even great in their lives. Also my belief is that, maybe they may feel that they really don’t need to be that close to God, because they may feel they are doing well enough by themselves.

      These types of people’s happiness are built on material things instead of the living words of God. How can you trust in someone that you don’t really know anyways? You can’t, it’s impossible. Would you trust someone you don’t really know? I hope you said no. I call people with this kind of belief, walking time bombs. Tick, Tick, Tick…Ca-Boooom!

      As soon as something goes wrong in their lives, they then seem to lose it and don’t know what to do. Suddenly they become very unhappy and then eventually fear, worry and anxiety may set in. They might even go into deep depression and may even have suicidal thoughts. Living a life like this is definitely crazy.

      Trust requires commitment and faith. To trust in someone is to rely on them, to believe in them. In Proverbs chapter 3 verses 5-6, we are promised that by trusting in the Lord, our paths will be made straight, that is to say, we will be given direction for our lives.

      Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

      So why do so many people do this to themselves, if they say they believe that God can do anything? Well, the answer to that question is pretty simple, however, we need to first know and fully understand the real only truth, which are the living words of God.

      The truth is that, we may say we truly believe in God, but we don’t make a decision to totally surrender unconditionally to it. You cannot tell me that, you trust God and on the other hand worry. Also, you cannot tell me that, you believe in God and then doubt Him. That is being wishy washy. You either do or you don’t. You either have the trust and the faith to believe the living words of God or you don’t. That is the whole problem. However, we still have trouble with it. Why?

      Well it’s simple. We have programmed ourselves that way. We have chosen to believe that way so long, that we have programmed it into our mind, heart and soul. However, just like we have programmed ourselves to not really trust and have the faith to believe God and His living words, we can choose to really trust and have the faith to believe God and His living words, by totally surrendering unconditionally to Him and His living words.

      It’s our choice, our decision; it’s that simple, so surrender to it! Well, I guess some may say, That sounds easy, but that’s hard to do. It’s only hard because we are saying it’s hard. Remember, it’s our choice, our decision, nobody else’s, surrender to it! Give up, Let Go and let God.

      Chapter 2

      Surrendering To God And His Living Words

      Ok, so how do we totally surrender to God and His living words? Well, doing it is going to be completely up to us, nobody else. It’s our choice, our decision.

      First, let me make up a story, to try to help you understand, how to totally surrender unconditionally to God and His living words. Let’s say, you’re driving a car down a roadway and you did something stupid, like not pulling over for the cops, maybe because you had been drinking. You then try to flee from them by going faster and faster, disobeying all rules on the
