About this ebook
One Bad Bird In The beginning Can Make All The Difference In The End!
Will Luke and friends find a way to save the big old, ratty, colorful parrot? The giant bird was friend and confidant of the foul-mouthed pirate whose ship was lost at sea. Can this wild parrot be tamed, and changed? Will the native birds be corrupted beyond reversal and spread this sad, if humorous, song to the rest of the birds in the world?
Some readers might think, why would this Old Blind Man waste his time penning as far-fetched a story as this one?
It is simple my friends, for each of us have this wild and nasty parrot existing inside of us. Swearing and profanity can catch on with those around us like a bad disease. We could spend our days singing the ugly song and spreading its bad influence. Let us reason with our parrot!

Chapter 1 - The Storm!
Fierce was the storm and dreadful news it was for those in its way! The savage South Pacific cyclone of the season was roaring across the face of the sea. Moments before the schooner Hell Bound
struck the island reef, Captain Hades could be heard screaming out his favorite invectives. Swaggering to and fro, he laughed with derision, while waving his nearly empty Cutty Sark bottle into the face of the raging winds. Unknowingly, this is one fight he was about to lose to the creatures of the coral and crabs of the ancient reef, for he was violently washed overboard into the boiling sea. Without a chance he was churned under the roiling sea and ground into pulp under the cutting edges of the coral. His long lived revilements were slowly swallowed in the roaring sea spume, pulverizing his worthless life into bloody shreds.
Ah, but through the blasting winds out of the North there arose a swift and smart survivor to this storm. Captain Hades stood on the deck with his only friend and longtime companion: Beelzebub the giant parrot, famous for its outrage and distinguished in the World Book of Strange Facts and Rare Things. This multi-colored macaw parrot, ugly in its own right, could speak in nine languages—or should we say, cuss, curse or carry on for hours in profane or obscene expression, all in the name of evil. It knew how to rip, condemn, cut and blasphemy anyone and everyone in these nine languages and a few others unknown to world linguists. It truly was a vulgar creature of many stained feathers!
It was reported that it possessed an incredible vocabulary of over 2,000 words and phrases, mostly consisting of every vicious and vile word known to the most despicable port and haunts of the world. Several noted observers had published reports that this crude parrot had a vocabulary and an IQ equal to most United States high school graduates. Captain Hades and his wretched parrot had become famous throughout every seaport bar and dive known to the worst of all sailors and sea dogs. Beelzebub had seen and heard everything and more. And of course, he had absorbed the worst of every irreverent sea dog’s word and phrases of the crudest gutter slang and despicable expressions during his entire life. Truly, he was filthy and disgusting from crooked beak to tattered tail.
Beelzebub was very capable of screeching out demands of murder and mayhem, and was known to have caused many bar stabbings and bloody brawls in every sea drag of the world.
Regardless of his fame, the instinct to survive suddenly ignited his winged powers and all his cunningness flashed alive and, using the wind to save his feathered body, broke his bounds and flung himself into the cutting winds of the storm.
Even though the winds were flinging the waves into mountainous bursts of spray, old Beelzebub had a glimmer of hope for the ship until he saw the evident demise of his captain in the bloody sea foam. He knew that it was all wings for themselves. No choices remained; all hope was gone, for the famous team from hell met its last fight. As the Hell Bound was shredded on the knife edged coral and sunk, the old parrot had no choice but to go with the winds towards an uninhabited island laid low in the storm.
The Category Four cyclone finally blew itself out during the next few nights and Beelzebub awoke ill, early in the new day as it came alive bright and sunny. What a night that must have been. He tried to remember the details as he shook the whisky fog out of his tiny feathered brain. Slowly, oh so slowly, vague details floated back as he found himself battered and tattered. The beaches had been swept clean and many trees lay low, but his keen red eyes slowly adjusted and began searching desperately for the distant shoreline, looking for his lost companion of the sea. With gloomy hope brewing inside his feather covered heart, the old parrot managed to stretch his wings which had rarely been
