A stranger asked me for one night…

One night to give into the pleasure that he thought only he could give me. I know in the end it'll change me, and that's something that I'll have to live with. However, I never expected the tall, confident stranger to end up being the playboy billionaire I was hired to work for.

The rules will have to change, or I'll have to walk away from one of the biggest deals in my career.

    Chapter One

I’ve just landed in New York after an eight-hour plane ride from LA. Exhausted, all I want to do is retrieve my luggage, hail a taxi, and then check into the hotel. I’ve been traveling around the states now for weeks and living out of a suitcase is getting pretty old. I’d do just about anything to be back home. I’d walk straight into my massive closet and pick out whatever I want to wear, not the small wardrobes in hotels. Oh and my bed; what I wouldn’t pay to be snuggled up in my King size bed with Christopher.

We both travel for work. After receiving my Masters in Hospitality, I started my own company which specializes in revamping Hotel Services. My assistant, Tabitha, gathers all the information on what the hotel wants to achieve, books me a flight, and then I’m off.

Christopher works for Stephens Incorporated, his father’s financial services company. They deal with stocks, life insurance, and a shit-ton of other stuff that I try to ignore. He’s always trying to explain what he does or what he is doing, but I simply don’t get it. Stocks just bore me to death.

When we met five years ago, we were both working at the same hotel. After a few rounds of drinks, we exchanged numbers. A year later, we were married. Love at first sight? Maybe not, but we did understand each other. That helped, normally within two months everyone in our pasts called it off.

Yes, we both travel way too much, especially in the last six months. It’s been six months since Christopher and I have seen each other. The last time was in the middle of the airport; I had just landed and he was flying off to another city. We keep missing each other by a day or two. Either, I’m at home and he’s off doing what he does or vice versa. With a quick kiss and a goodbye that day, he was off to the next city.

Maybe it’s time I hire a few more people to help out with the travel. I could always find someone who wants to travel the world, work on reports, send them to me and then I can do the proposal. With all the new technology around, I
