About this ebook

Danger. Progress. Fatigue.

The Americans have rallied behind a few victories. And the Crusader team is down one member.

With a strategic plan, the Americans hope to form alliances, shore up defenses, and soften the enemy. But the missions are risky, and the threats from the enemy remain at the forefront.

Can Ishmael and the Crusaders advance? Or will the Claw war machine overtake them?

Hidden Danger Lurks

Ishmael and the Crusaders have made their way to the top of the ranks. The Ceresian Liberation Army knows this, and its Supreme Overlord has ordered their top assassin to target military leadership to stall America's momentum.

Progress in Small Victories

The Crusaders have gained a new teammate in General Skyworth. They will battle anarcho-terrorists, the elite guard of the Claw, and a fearsome enemy General.

Outpacing War Fatigue

Death seems to be surrounding Ishmael, and it isn't letting up. With each passing day, Ishmael feels the end of the war get closer. Avenging his brother keeps him sane, keeps him going. But he also starts to see that the war isn't as black and white as he once thought.

Tales from Crusader One is the second in the Civil Tribulation Series by Adam S. Furman.

Adam S. Furman

Ishmael's quest for revenge began in the rich imagination of Adam Furman, an author born and raised in Illinois. Like many boys growing up in the nineties, Adam was inspired by the resurgence of video games into popular culture. It was during this same time Adam grew interested in the Star Wars franchise. Both the original movie trilogy and novels such as Shadows of the Empire fueled his interest in fantasy and science-fiction. High school introduced Adam to the world of love, and it was then he began his relationship with his future wife, who continues to be a support and inspiration through all his work. During his undergraduate career at NIU, Adam channeled his love of being creative into a reinvigorated respect of reading and writing. After graduating from Northern Illinois University College of Law, Adam was blessed with two children. At once. He somehow finds time to continue his writing, reading, and creativity.
