    Set up the mechanism

    The social importance of building a strong character cannot be stressed enough. Developing self-control is vital for children (Martin Kocher, et al., April 2012). Children with self-discipline and willpower develop into better citizen because they have more control over their minds and thoughts.  We begin by setting up the mechanism. But we need to decide the exact point of injection of the self-discipline mechanism. Moreover, we need to see that if such a mechanism for injecting self-discipline were in place, whether it would work effectively. Moreover, we need to ascertain in what ways the motivation for a successful life occurs.

    Working of the governing body

    First, let us talk about the mechanism of imparting the means to develop self-control. We see that the governing group needs to function as an independent body. This means that children function as separate cognitive units. The parents or the school will not interfere with the functioning of these children other than for providing the basic amenities. The monitoring of the mechanism that imparts and measures the growth of self-confidence in children takes place through another agency specifically appointed for carrying out the task.

    Directing children from a social perspective

    Children ought to realize the importance of delaying gratification early in life (Martin Kocher et al., April 2012). This will help them develop self-discipline and willpower. Implementing self-discipline in children without looking at any cognitive aspect will impact their academic and health aspects when they grow up.
