From his perspective in the cockpit and, more importantly, the innumerable airports and hotel rooms scattered from sea to shining sea, Doc arrived at the conclusion that it was better to remain safely in Seattle and summon the proverbial bacon to himself than it was to drag the stuff home from the wildernesses of Teterboro, NJ and West Palm Beach, FL.
