I started this ebook series not to convince anyone to change their damn vote or to get you to commiserate with me over the shit-show that the primary election season has been so far. Nope. I’m writing this to document the madness for myself and to help deal with the stress of it all. And to share some thoughts.
So let me start by putting some cards on the table.
I’m white. I’m American, born in this country and a full U.S. citizen. I’m educated — that is to say, I finished high school and college, and I have a full-time job. (By the way, that does not make me an elitist. I just finish what I start.)
So let me back up for a second. I’m a college graduate of a state university which was paid for by serving in the Army National Guard. In exchange
