      Introduction

      Often we learn Astrology by studying books that describe meanings of the Zodiac signs, the houses of the chart, and planetary influences. We compare what we know about ourselves with the meanings outlined in the books we read. Then we study aspects, house placements, rulerships, hemispheres, and quadrant emphasis. We learn to synthesize several of the meanings and understand how complicated it is to express in words how an individual might or might not experience the energy represented by the symbols we are trying to comprehend.
