However, Esther is an example of a godly woman, who comes with a meek and quiet spirit when she is called, and therefore gains all.

      Introduction

      Following a battle in 1868, the Ethiopian royal crown was stolen (among other valuables) by looting British soldiers, after storming the Fortress of Magdala.

      After many attempts to recover the stolen treasures and the crown royal from British museums, most have still not been returned. The British Museum holding the Ethiopian royal crown values it highly, and simply argues that the crown is better off in Britain than in Ethiopia, because anyone in the world has an opportunity to see its beauty. Still over 140 years, Ethiopians are grieving over the loss of their crown royal, being taken from them.

      Chapter Two

      How Queen Vashti Lost Her Crown

      There is a crown of righteousness that the King and Lord has available for His Church. However, the Church, as His bride, must walk worthy of her calling in such a way to ensure that her crown remains on Her head. Queen Vashti shows how to lose a crown by failing to walk right and show up.

      Vashti was a Persian queen. Some of the principles and procedures established in the law of the Medes and Persians are similar to those found also in a Jewish marriage. For instance, after the marriage was consummated, the groom would announce the consummation to the other members of the wedding party waiting outside the bridal chamber. Upon hearing the good news that the ceremonial union had indeed been consummated, the wedding guests would begin the feast and make merry for the next 7 days.
