I've read all Lesley Cookman's Libby Sarjeant series. They are excellent "cosy" mysteries. The main characters are very appealing and life-like. Libby isn't a super heroine. She's a slightly dumpy over-50 woman. She has a variety of close friends. The writing is light, humerous and based on the problems of life today. I feel really cosy with these characters.
