    Dedication

These stories are dedicated to my animals who make my life full of laughter and adventure. And to my mother, Christine Coleman, and friend, Elizabeth Tournquist, who encouraged me to keep writing, and to Beverly McIlnay who aptly named Okie the wonder dog. Also, a big thank you to Brian Dumm whose pictures bring the stories to life.

    Thank you all.
