Reviews for 30 Bible Study Lessons for Beginners Easy and Simple
5 ratings1 review
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5This is not biblical. It states you are not saved just by accepting Jesus into your heart as your Savior. It is scary that this is labeled beginner because it will scare many new believers away. It lists requirements for salvation which goes against John 3:16 and many other promises He gives us. Please if you are a new Christian do not read this. Salvation is based on mercy and grace not requirements.

Introduction
Life is busy—I get that. But when you get to the point of believing you are too busy for God, you are, as the saying goes, walking on thin ice because whether you want to admit it or not, God is the creator and ruler of the universe. He is, as Christian author and speaker, Darla Noble, says, God is personally invested and interested in every single living thing on earth.
This personal investment and interest God has in you is both mind-boggling and life-changing.
It is mind-boggling in that as humans we have a hard time wrapping our heads around the fact that God can love each of us so much that he has the desire and ability to hear each word, know each thought, see each step, each tear, each accomplishment…each everything. Why and how does he do it? The answer to that is really quite simple: God is our Father…our parent. We know as parents that no matter how many kids we have our heart is completely and utter full of love for each one. It never runs out. That’s how it is with God...multiplied by millions upon millions.
As for the life-changing part, the best way I can put it is this: God created you so he knows what is best for you. As your father and creator, he knows what you need to be truly happy and fulfilled AND he knows what it will take to make that happen. So when you truly know God and put your faith in him to make these things happen, you’re happy, God’s happy, and life is just as it should be.
The only way to really get to know God and know what he expects of us as his children is by reading and studying the Bible, through prayer, and through worshiping and serving together with other Christians. That’s where this book comes in. Each of the following thirty Bible studies covers an issue that is relevant for most everyone to some degree or another. Each of the thirty studies contains scripture, a Biblical example of the subject matter, a more modern day example, and suggestions for applying what you’ve read to your life.
The Bible is God Word. Let it speak to you. Let it change your life…for the better.
#1 A Healthy Marriage
No one gets married wanting the marriage to fail. Everyone wants a happy and healthy marriage. But it’s not easy, is it? It takes work—hard work, along with commitment, selflessness, and sacrifice. Statistics show, however, that about half the marriages in this country don’t work out; that the lack of all these things is severe enough that couples call it quits. This isn’t what God wants for his children. God’s intentions for marriage are as clear as glass. There is no way anyone can twist or misconstrue them without changing the truth of what he said. So because God knows best, it only makes sense for us to look to the Bible when it comes to what makes for a healthy marriage…
Genesis, chapter 29 tells the story of Jacob and Rachel. They loved one another deeply, but due to cultural ‘stuff’ and plain old deceit on the part of Rachel’s dad, Jacob ended up married to her old-maid sister. And this was after working seven years before he was allowed to marry (who he thought) was Rachel. Jacob and Rachel’s love was so real, though, that they didn’t let even this stop them. Their marriage wasn’t easy (to put it lightly) or
