100 Short Stories From My Customers

About this ebook
The book is a collection of short stories and conversations with my customer who checked out at my cash register at Walmart store in Sugar Land, Texas. After the usual exchange of greetings, I looked for any opportunity to initiate conversations with customers. However, many times, they were the ones who would start talking and telling me stories. Topics were anything under the sun.

100 Short Stories From My Customers - Emiliano Austria
CASHIER WALKED OUT ON ME
It was a busy afternoon and all opened registers had long lines. My present customer who was a woman, wearing a foreign dress, probably from India and in her forties, complained to me.
You know,
she began, I was in line for about thirty minutes in other checkout. But when my turn came, the cashier turned off his light, told me he was closed, and walked out on me.
Oh, I’m sorry to hear that. I apologize.
No, it is not your fault.
He made you mad?
No, I’m not mad, just disappointed.

ARE YOU A COUNTY SHERIFF?
