About this ebook

Sit back and enjoy the continuation of Into the Night....

Meredith was saved by someone or was it some thing? As she lay in the alley way after being saved from two attackers, she listens to the sirens get closer and closer. The darkness of the night and her blurred vision from the knock on the head that the one of the attackers gave her, prevented her from seeing her savior clearly. All she saw was the attackers go flying. Its two years later and she's still haunted by that night.

Carmine has watched her for the past two years, keeping her safe even after she left the town of York. He has kept his distance because of what he is. Not many people would understand or even believe what he is and what he can do.

Will Meredith and Carmine be together or are they destine to be apart forever.

Note: This story will be wrote in a continued short story series. Please keep checking back for the next part.

We have no children, but do have one dog and one cat.Besides writing I enjoy sitting down with some yarn and a hook and creating afghans and blankets as well as baby and toddler clothes. I also enjoys putting my feet up with a good book with the dog at my feet and the cat in my lap.Writing has always been a dream for me, now I'm taking the steps towards making that dream come true.

Carmine just sat and looked at Meredith trying to decide where to start and how to explain things. He picked up her hands again and said, Meredith, look at me? He waited until she did. I... I...

Meredith tightened her grip and said, Carmine, just say it. I'm not going anywhere. Don't you think I'd be long gone by now if I didn't want to even try to understand.

Okay. He left go of her hands and stood. He wondered around the room for a bit and then began. "Not many know about my kind, most assume we are like all the others, the shifters, and the werewolves, and in someways we are. We don't shift into animals, not really, some of our abilities are always there, like our strength and speed. Our hearing, sense of smell, and eye sight are also heightened. It's how I knew you were in trouble this morning. I'm not sure what all you saw this morning, but my kind does shift in away, just that its different than the animal shifters or werewolves. We stay
