About this ebook

Joshua's Song is a true account of inspirational messages sent from Heaven by a son to his mother. At only 24 years of age, Josh Z. died instantly from head trauma suffered from a fall off a high-rise building. Josh’s mom, bereft with grief as she struggled to prepare for his memorial, reached out in desperation to her son in the “beyond” for understanding and comfort. To her great and utter surprise, Josh responded with an inspirational and detailed account of life after death and his personal relationship with G-D which, he explains, is really the same for all beings on Earth and in Heaven. This book is a “must read” for anyone who has lost a loved one, needs help cultivating the inner strength to move forward and re-ignite faith, or simply wants to be reassured that your loved one is with you and will always be.

    Dedication

This book is dedicated to the Holy One Blessed Be He in full gratitude for the gift of my son, Joshua Samuel Zornberg. May the Merciful One accept and find this offering favorable in His eyes. I pray that He grant us all strength, wisdom, and the vision to see the beauty of life. May we be comforted by the understanding that all He does, He does for the greater good of all. I hereby surrender my heart, mind, and soul to His eternal compassion and unconditional love. May His Great Name be blessed forever more. Amen!!!

In loving memory of my beloved son, Josh, I pledge to act honorably and perform and pursue acts of charity and good deeds wherever I am, wherever I may go. May the good deeds I perform and the prayers I offer in this world be attached to Joshua’s merit, just as if he would have performed them himself. May it liberate his soul as an enduring source of infinite blessings. Amen!!!

To my daughter, Alma Bracha Zornberg, I pray that you continue to hold strong and that this book confirms with every fiber of your being that life continues onward, even after the worst of tragedies, and that your brother Josh stands beside you in loving support as strongly as he did when alive in this physical world. I pray that you live feeling a bond with each person you meet, that you respect your own integrity and honor, that you live within the energy of love and compassion, and return to that energy when things don’t feel right, that you make wise and blessed choices with your will, and maintain perceptions of non-judgment and wisdom. Most importantly, I pray that you love and trust the beautiful and amazing person that you are, that you trust G-D and His divine plan.

To all the mothers, fathers, siblings, and children who have lost a loved one through tragic circumstances, may you find great comfort and solace trusting and knowing your loved one is forever by your side, that they live, are well, and safe in the outstretched and loving arms of our Creator.

    Prologue

This book came into being while sitting on my beige couch, intensely deliberating how I was going to prepare for my son Josh’s memorial service. I decided it would be an intimate service in the company of my daughter, who planned to move out of the house to strike out on her own the following day, and a very few, carefully selected friends.

With tears rolling down my face, I began to talk to myself and to my deceased son, not knowing what I was doing, except venting many conflicted feelings. "Tell me; tell me, Josh, how in the world am I supposed to do this? I don’t know
