      Darcy Miller was a seasoned pro at dealing with whatever life threw at her. Whether it was work problems, rowdy neighbours or a disappointing boyfriend, she’d dealt with them all in her signature style; expose the problem, poke around a bit and then tackle it head on. This though, she had no idea how to deal with. Now she really was in trouble, more so than she’d ever been in her life.

      There was a dead body in her lab, and she was pretty much the only one who had the keys.

      Not to mention the fact they were expecting a very important visitor for a tour of the lab in just a few hours. Oh yeah, Darcy was fucked with a capital F.

      At first all she could do was stare in surprise. She’d never seen a dead body up close before and wasn’t entirely sure what she should do next. She’d lived with a trainee doctor while studying for her PhD
