About this ebook

Astronica is a contemporary technique that analyzes the settings of the underlying energy field in which we were born and presently evolve. It's a new method that gathers and evaluates astrophysical and astronomical data (exocauses) to determine past, present, and future conditions. This data, after the application of certain very precise AI algorithms, can be used to outline a person's basic makeup, a design that includes their inborn attributes, proclivities, and skills. Astronica is akin to Chronobiology, as it takes into consideration the circadian, tidal, monthly, and yearly cycles. It's not related to Astrology.

The profile of Attributes and Skills thus produced includes features such as: the individual's Life Purpose, Ideal Line of Work, Favored Soulmate Type, Prevalent Susceptibility, Foremost Behavior Traits, along with several other important Qualities. These are all endowments that a person can profitably use to secure their wellbeing.

The Astronical evaluations can also be used to identify the leading conditions and tendencies that predominate in a particular field of interest, at a specific time and place. This can be done for a past date (to find out why certain situations happened or not), for the present-day (to know the most rewarding way to proceed or the best topic to deal with right now), or for a future point in time (to forecast and plan your objectives, activities, and dealings in beforehand).

Astronica has been designed to give you precise, reliable, and useful information that can be used in your day-to-day undertakings.

IN ENGLISH - (EN ESPAÑOL, MÁS ABAJO)I'm sort of a three-way hybrid. My family upbringing was definitely European (Belgian), my early teen-age years were enjoyably influenced by the American way of life (Glendale, California), at the beginning of the Rock 'n Roll era (anybody remember?), and the rest of my life exposed me to the fast-paced Latin American culture (Venezuela and the Caribbean islands). This gave me the order and discipline of the European, the modern vision and progressive imagination of an American, and the animated soul of a Latino.By trade, I'm a Computer Systems Engineer, who specialized in setting up systems for large, high-rise hotels in Latin America. For the past 29+ years, after investigating many fields and debunking a lot of information, I've been designing a system that I named ASTRONICA (very little in common with classic Astrology). In short, it's a technique that anyone can use to (1) get to know their true inborn attributes, qualities and skills, and (2) to determine the ongoing conditions (exocauses) that inevitably influence us and our environment, at any given time or place. You can test the efficiency of Astronica for yourself, by visiting the Astronica website (www.astronica.org, in Spanish or English - online since 1997). Try out any of the free and user-friendly apps that you'll find there—they're all based on astronical algorithms, handled by AI. You can go there either with a desk PC or a laptop. But if you're mostly on the go, feel free to use a smartphone or a tablet. No registration, no cost, no hype. After retiring from the Hotel/Computer business, and after having put together the Astronica system, I began to write in two different fields: fiction and non-fiction. In the non-fiction section, I've written several books about Astronica (e.g., The Astronica Handbook, The Cyclegram, Dynamy and Polarity, The Cosmic Tree and The Hidden Circle). My writings in the fiction section usually include characters who live in the imperceptible "threshold area" that's between our every-day reality and the rest of the Multiverse (e.g., Imo, The Keepian and an ultra-short story, Nothing Speaks). I like to call this genre MetaFiction: the Reality that lies beyond reality.Currently, I live in Caracas, Venezuela and work every day on the Internet, to expand and further hone the Astronical resources. Now and then, when my Muse nudges me, I take another shot at story writing, so feel free to look me up.EN ESPAÑOLSoy una especie de híbrido triple.

    Introduction

The writings of the stars on the wall of Heaven,

was for the sages of old the language of the gods.

    Anonymous

Astronica is a contemporary technique to evaluate and take advantage of the various types of exocauses (i.e., astrophysical events) that penetrate the electromagnetic field that surrounds the Earth. These energy-forces can infiltrate our planet’s atmosphere and trickle down to our local environment. Once they reach ground level, they have an imperceptible but forceful influence on the molecular and cellular processes of our organism. This produces observable changes in our physical health, emotional behavior, and intellectual abilities.

Exocauses are prompted by many factors of our Solar System. All of them, to a greater or lesser extent, provoke indiscernible yet unavoidable changes in the autonomous processes of our being. These subconscious processes, in turn, modify the action of our organic functions (e.g., metabolism, immune system, nervous system, etc.). They also cause changes in our feelings and moods, our intellectual faculties, and even in the higher functions of our integral being. And this, of course, noticeably influences our appreciation of life, our social conduct, and our work efficiency.

A major break-through is having verified that leading-edge Astronical algorithms can provide a new and reliable way to determine a person’s inborn Attributes, Qualities, and Tendencies, based on the exocauses that predominated at the moment and place of their birth. The knowledge of these distinct characteristics can help this person find the best course of action to follow on present and future dates.

The theory I propose here is not related to any particular philosophical, religious, scientific, or mystical ideology. And, as you’ll soon realize, Astronica has nothing in common with Astrology. They’re as different from each other as are modern Chemistry and outmoded Alchemy.

Astronica is more akin to present-day Chronobiology (Physiology Nobel Prize winner, 2017) and related sciences.

    THE INVISIBLE THEATRE

This first section provides a description of the energy network that underlies, persistently influences, and gives support to our more palpable reality.

In this part, I strive to offer a new and coherent view of the invisible Scenery of microscopic particles and electromagnetic waves that constitute the basic building-blocks of the energy environment in which we live. It’s meant to convey an overview of the unending Theater in which people, astrophysical events (exocauses), and ever-changing energy patterns constantly interact.

Transfrequency, Quadrants, Cofrequencies, Pentals, and Gradals are some of the neologisms I’ll define and make use of to describe a Cosmos that shuns Euclidean geometry, thus freeing the reader’s mind from the confinement imposed by the present notion of tridimensional space-time.

    Presentation

The limits of what is possible can only be defined by extending them toward the impossible.

    Arthur C. Clarke

    British writer and scientist, 1917 - 2008

To get to the bottom of the so-called Cosmic Influences, during the last 30+ years I’ve had to sift through a large amount of concepts, theories, opinions, and superstitions. In many cases these allegations began as a brash pronouncement that had to be accepted de facto, just because it had been decreed and implanted—too many times by the use of fear or force—by some self-proclaimed authority of yesteryear.

But what astonishes me most is that these arrogant pronouncements—which have never been properly evaluated and much less proven—still form a substantial part of today’s scientific dogma, social convictions, religious beliefs, and philosophical postulates, which passively and traditionally have been accepted by the unwary public.

Hence, to establish new, legitimate, and irrefutable assertions, I probed, among other things, the new insight brought to us by modern Astrophysics, Quantum Physics, Universal Field Theories, Chronobiology, etc., in accordance with the most recent discoveries regarding sub-atomic particles, energy fields, and the effect that ions and natural electromagnetic waves have on the molecular and cellular processes of our body.

In the present work, I make use of some of the most recent contributions given to us by visible-wave (photic) Astronomy, Astrometry (the scientific survey of the position and motion of celestial bodies), non-visible wave Astronomy (non-photic; the study of the Cosmos through the scrutiny of radio, ultraviolet, infrared, x-ray, and radar waves, among others), and by Cyclology (the study of periodic occurrences)—all of them sciences that can help us gain a new appreciation concerning the timeless subject of Cosmic Influences.

… new astronomical and biomedical information [prove] that human life is and has always been connected to the invisible (non-photic) forces [of] the universe. - Halberg (2004)

To fully grasp the information given herein, you’ll first have to accept the fact that the human being is a complex multi-dimensional energy structure. In my opinion, we’re entities embedded in an ocean of highly organized and profoundly interacting, albeit very subtle and mostly unknown forces.

… [it has been] discovered that human physiological rhythms are closely associated with invisible terrestrial, lunar, and solar cycles. - A. R. Liboff (2014)

I trust this work, in the long run, will be enhanced by what astrophysicists, astronomers, and other scientists of the future find in their research.

    Basic Concepts

Nature does not hurry, yet it gets everything done.

    Lao Tzu, Chinese Taoist philosopher.

In this chapter, I’m going to describe some basic Astronical notions that I’m sure will greatly help you better understand the forthcoming explanations.

First of all we have what I’ll call the Nexus, which is defined as the entire network of exocauses (i.e., astrophysical events) capable of influencing the space and atmosphere that surrounds the Earth, our terrestrial environment, its natural inhabitants (plants and animals), and our own integral being. Each recurrent exocause produces its own Astronical Cycle.

This generates a combination of countless highly organized and interacting conditions that make up the operational infrastructure of what we call reality. It’s a dynamic web of intangible, uncontrollable (but usable), and ever-changing forces that constantly modify all there is.

Then we have the Genotypes, that is, the molecular structures that contain the entire genetic pool of each particular being or species. Note that a gene is a biochemical directive that causes and controls the generation of each of the many characteristics that give form to an organism. Genotypes are inherited from the individual’s parents.

From each Genotype comes forth a profusion of Phenotypes, each one being the embodiment and expression of all the observable characteristics and traits of a specific organism, such as its physical attributes, mental qualities, behavior, etc. All these features are usually modified by environmental influences when the individual is born. Many of these features are originated by sporadic and/or cyclical exocauses that were present in the locality where the person was given birth to. This is one of Astronica’s main objectives: to determine an individual’s natal attributes, abilities, and inclinations.

In other words, Phenotypes are the differentiated Individualizations, the distinct and unique entities that have the basic features of a particular species, as well as the singularities that come from the enhancement or attenuation of certain attributes of their original Genotype. Phenotype attributes are not inherited, which is why every individual is the incarnation of qualities and features that identify his species, modulated by environmental influences, many of which are exocauses. This produces the distinctive characteristics that make each individual stand out as an inimitable one-of-a-kind being.

Our individual design (Phenotype) is what determines how each of us is to link our existence with the non-stop action of the Nexus. It’s the exclusive, indelible, and unrepeatable combination of features and characteristics that indicates how our vital essence will instinctively and autonomously strive to express itself in life.

Furthermore, as we advance through life, the ongoing exocauses that reach our geographical location modify the way the many functions of our Phenotype act. This happens mostly by the modulation of the workings of our oscillating genes, i.e., those that function following a rhythmic pattern or periodic cycle. Astronica also takes this into consideration.

    Essence and Persona

From an Astronical viewpoint, our basic individuality is made of two fundamental components: our Essence and our Persona, both working within the Nexus, each in its own way.

Our Essence comprises all the reflex functions of our Phenotype. It’s the basis of what has been called our Higher Mind or Self, or the Administrator of our impersonal sub/supra-conscious processes.

On the other hand, our Persona, also called our Ego, our Conscious Self, or Willful Mind, consists of the ensemble of learned knowledge, behavior, and acquired tastes that come from our upbringing, education, and life experiences.

Our Essence acts spontaneously, unperceptively, and impersonally, always adapting itself and our integral being to the conditions activated by the ongoing exocauses. One of its tasks is to transform raw astrophysical energy into subconscious action by means of the processes and functions hard-wired into our Genotype. In other words, it operates in sync with the tendencies and conditions on the Nexus.

Unfortunately, our Persona is usually not aware of the imperceptible exocauses that surround us and tends to act based on the habits, feelings, and reasons we may have at a particular moment. These actions are generally not in accordance with the forces of the Nexus, which our Essence inevitably conforms to. Luckily, our Essence can usually do its preset job without the aid of our Persona, but the individual would suffer less and be more effective if (s)he acted in harmony with it.

Astronica provides the means to consciously discern many of the conditions provoked by the action of past, present, and future exocauses. This lets us adapt the proceedings of our Persona to these conditions, which in turn allows us to move in stride with our Essence. The only guaranteed way to progress in life is that our conscious Persona adapts its ways with the non-conscious procedures of our Essence, which, as I said, inexorably obeys the natural conditions and tendencies sparked by the diverse energy-forces of the Nexus.

It’s important to keep in mind that our Essence is a natural, self-governing mechanism that always strives to take into account our Specific Function, i.e., the main objective of our existence. And that in order to achieve this all-important Life Purpose, our Essence makes use of a score of Attributes, Qualities, and Talents that are inherent to our primordial and individual design (i.e., our particular Phenotype). We could say that our Essence is a success mechanism programed by innumerable years of evolution to help us accomplish our goals. It does this by taking advantage of the tendencies aroused in the general public by ongoing and future exocauses. These trends provoke favorable circumstances and situations toward which our Essence will spontaneously strive to steer us, according to our inborn Attributes and Qualities.

Thankfully, Astronica’s algorithms can help us determine our true Specific Function in life, as well as our inborn Features, Abilities, and Tendencies.

An individual’s primordial design defines his true nature and even his destiny, i.e., the ideal line of action that each one should follow, according to their particular Attributes and Characteristics, and the ever-changing settings of the Nexus.

After we get to know the inborn Attributes, Skills, and Tendencies that comprise our basic design, we should willingly make every effort to accept, develop, and express each of them, in step with the conditions and trends activated by the prevailing exocauses.

The line of action I’ve referred to as destiny is a course we can accept or not, for we as human beings have a free will to decide on this issue. If we choose to accept this ideal path, our progress in life will be more pleasant, effective, and fruitful. But if we decide to reject it (or are not aware of it), then we’ll have to pay the consequences of this decision, for we’ll constantly clash with the impersonal predispositions of our Essence. If we learn how to move in harmony with the flow of the invisible and unavoidable universal forces of the Nexus, we’ll inevitably be successful in life.

To do this, we must realize and accept that the effect the Nexus has on us is natural, inescapable, and quite impersonal. And that its energy-forces are responsible for regulating the rhythm and style of our evolution, as well as our day-to-day advance in life. These intangible energies constitute the infrastructure—the very foundation—of what produces, nourishes, and gives continuous presence to a number of Astronical Cycles that influence our daily lives, even if we’re not aware of it or don’t quite understand how it happens.

    Chronicles

Time is but a small fraction of Eternity.

    Marcus Tullius Cicero

Roman politician, lawyer, and writer (106 – 43 BCE)

Since the beginning of time, man has believed that in one way or another the heavenly bodies act upon his life. And though his intuition has constantly insisted that this influence is real, his intellect hasn’t always been up to par to help him understand how these effects occur, or how to make the best of them.

In my opinion, we must all admire the formidable effort made by the celestial observers of old. We should praise their formidable dedication, especially that of the Assyrian and Chaldean astronomer-priests, who perched on top of their magnificent ziggurats, (i.e., buildings called cosmic mountains, see former image), dedicated their lives to the careful observation of the ever-changing relationship between the fixed stars and mobile celestial bodies.

To illustrate the erratic movement of the planets, the Middle East stargazers called them bibbus (i.e., jumping mountain goats). Whereas, the Greeks called them wanderers, which gave us the word planets.

Those ancient observers, with only their plain eyesight (or that of their younger assistants), and perhaps with the aid of a few simple instruments, methodically gathered astronomical data, far into the clear, cool Middle East nights.

After having collected their astral data, the astronomer-priests then tried to figure out the meaning of this or that celestial configuration, by applying norms whose origins, unfortunately, had already been lost in time.

I believe that the basic idea of trying to give a meaning to the position of heavenly bodies is valid, but the method applied by those venerable astrologers was not the right one. This made them many times have to guess their significance, for what else could they do if they had to work with data mostly based on what seemed to be and not according to true facts.

Should there be any doubt about this, please recall that during the best part of the last 2000 years, the postulates of Cosmogony (the theory of the origin of the Universe) and the principles of Cosmology (the general structure and evolution of the Universe) that were accepted by the scholarly, the Church, and by common man, were those established by the Platonic - Aristotelian - Ptolemaic celestial system. This astronomical arrangement blatantly proclaimed that the Earth was the unquestionable center of Creation, and that, therefore, the entire firmament was to meekly revolve around it—yes, even the mighty Sun! That’s right, this was the norm submissively accepted by almost everyone for more than 18 centuries.

Nevertheless, as time went by and medieval man’s intellect matured, European cultures were eventually forced to let go of the deceitful idea of being the inhabitants of the center of the Universe. That belief fell apart when men the stature of Nicholas Copernicus (Polish), Tycho Brahe (Danish), Johannes Kepler (German), Galileo Galilei (Italian), and many others, painstakingly began to uncover the truth.

They proved what (almost) everybody believes today, should it need to be said: that the Earth is not the center of the Universe, and that the other celestial bodies (except the Moon) do not revolve around our planet. In other words, the time had come to stop believing in the devious geocentrism, to begin to accept and work with the new heliocentrism, the astronomical arrangement that places the Sun in its right place: at its center.

    Linear versus Cyclical Time

It was during the years of the Renaissance when the Judeo-Christian concept of linear time that advanced like an arrow came to be accepted as an academic standard. From there on, for most European societies, time came to be considered an unbroken succession of instants. This automatically implied that the sequence must have started at
