Guide to Recognizing Haters

About this ebook
Guide to Recognizing Haters is a compendium created with the guidance of the word of God. I began this quest because no matter how blessed my life was, I was unhappy. I could not, for the life of me, understand or even see why, as the truth was hard to recognize and even more difficult to accept. My soul cried out to God, as I was trapped and yearned to be free. I had hitherto submitted, heart and mind, to a coterie version of Stockholm Syndrome. I openly expressed feelings of trust and affection toward the subjugators who used my love for them as a weapon against me. Unfortunately, my anger and distrust were aimed at any and every one who were against my beloveds.
I prayed to our heavenly Father for clarity and discernment. Before long, I learned how to recognize the haters in my life who masqueraded as cherished friends and loving family. God revealed these things with undeniable clarity: Unbeknownst to me for decades, I struggled for acceptance from people who, frankly, did absolutely nothing to improve their own lives—other than complain. Yet, for that lot, my efforts were never quite good enough. I shared my hopes and goals for the future with folks who never did more than the bare minimum. These people often discouraged my dreams and aspirations. All the more so, I strove to impress my so-called mentors; the people to which I entrusted my counsel and tutelage. As I celebrated my successes with said people, I realized they wanted me to do well, just not better than them. That kind of tainted support is not love.
The bible itemizes everything love is, does, is not, and does not do. Accordingly, I began with prayer, seconded by education which was quickly followed up with observation. Fortified with my new perspicacity, clarity, comprehension, and discernment I could not believe who my haters turned out to be. I tested my theories time and time again. Alas, the disappointingly stagnating facts rang true again and again. No matter how much I admired and adored my beloved haters, I gathered my strength, retired my rose-colored glasses, and recognized them for who they really were.
In this guidebook I will reveal the undercover traits of closet haters. You will learn how to recognize the truth and clearly identify the haters in your world, one by one, as I did in mine. Armed with some very prudent truths, I made changes. A hush settled over my world as my life filled with the quiet absence of hate. I had created a more peaceful existence at last. I will show you how I did it step by step. It is time to expose the haters in your life. Are you ready?
In my next book, LOVE: From the Safest Distance Possible, I reveal every lesson I learned about the biblical perspicacity of love, discernment and selectivity. True love in its purest form flows from God. Love is then honed within self and reciprocated. Love is then payed forward from self to others where love is freely interchanged. You will be amazed at what you would never be inclined to tolerate in the name of love, once you first love yourself. The love of one’s self is paramount to ensure a peaceful joyous existence. This book will help you embark with great expectation on your expedition of love. I am happy to share in detail exactly how I achieved a happy life filled with love.

I dedicated myself to writing this guide because I would very much like to spare as many people as I can from what I faced in my life as I dared to follow my dreams. I was bombarded by so many haters as God blessed me with everything I boldly asked for as a child. I dreamed of leaving my family and starting my life somewhere new. I dreamed of love, a husband, and children—a family of my own. I dreamed the American dream of a house, car and career. I dreamed of bigger and better things—a better life than the one that my parents were able to provide. Haters should never ever be allowed to hinder you and/or stop you from living your dreams. In this guide I will expose everything I can about the ways of a hater, from the petty to the substantial.
Although the original hater was Satan, the very first poster child of a hater was Cain, as he hated his brother so much he killed him. The fact that Abel had never wronged Cain was of no consequence. Abel happily worshipped the Lord, kept the flocks, and sacrificed his best to our heavenly father. Abel was blessed with abundance. Cain on the other hand did just enough to get by and offered what he saw fit to the Lord and therefore was not given the same blessings as his brother. Instead of Cain making a better effort he chose to cut down the brother who dared to outshine him.
Haters are murders, if not of the flesh, of current and future happiness. History is filled with haters from the bible to mythology to world history to modern day. Samson was undone by his lover Delilah and the hate of the Philistines. Jesus’ fate was sealed with a kiss from Judas. King Arthur was betrayed by his loving wife, Guinevere, and trusted Knight, Sir Lancelot, and that betrayal split the country and cost the king his life. Othello dared to embrace interracial love, yet his friend sabotaged that love. Be careful as the assassins of your happiness may in fact be the closest people to you.
When I was a child and for most of my life I could not understand how a parent, sibling, lover, and/or friend could harbor such loathing in their hearts towards someone who they claimed to love. Why not improve upon your own life instead of begrudging your loved ones’ joy? As I grew older I began to wonder how parents, teachers, and other authority figures could sabotage children and young adults. Once I was fully grown I could not fathom why on God’s green earth someone who I had helped would turn their back on me in my hour of need. There have been many times in my life when I firmly believed that if I did not have God on my side, I would have had no one at all.
And then, with the grace of God my children chose me. Unfortunately for them, the hate that was lavished on their mother is now resting at their doorsteps. The difference in their lives and mine is that they are well aware of the hate as well as the haters. I armed my children to the teeth with the tools that they needed to unmask haters and remove them from their personal lives. There are people who they loved as children that they no longer visit or even talk to past family events. My daughters are polite and charming, never personal.
Haters have been described in many different ways from the beginning of time to current times: the devil, Machiavellian, philistine, fake people, users, takers, snakes, two-faced, double-dealer, family, lover, friend, etc. Haters damage and destroy. It is time to reveal the haters in your life. Are you ready?
Dedication
This book, as with my every book, is dedicated to the most exquisite ladies I have had the pleasure of meeting in my life, my daughters, Rebecca and Monique. Thank you for being the best children I could ever ask God for. I love you two with all of my heart.
And to my readers, I am more than happy to share so that you may learn from the mistakes of others, realize that you are not alone, and have a happier life. Blessings to all of you!

General Haters
It is often said that hate keeps you locked in the past, and with that in mind: Where do you imagine haters want to keep you? There are two categories I prefer to place all haters into, closet haters and obvious haters. Closet haters are people who are not brave enough to tell you to your face that they have hate for you in their hearts. Obvious haters will let you know, boldly and in every way possible, they do not like you. Furthermore, closet haters boldly attempt to spread negativity and hate to anyone willing to listen, whereas, closet haters are more cowardice. Throughout your journey on the road to making your dreams a reality, you will come face to face with four distinctions of obvious and closet haters: naysayers, saboteurs, users, and takers. These haters must be relegated to their own class, as their variety of hate is directly aimed at your perpetual failure.
Many haters have classic conceited characteristics. They live in a state of constant comparison as they have to be the top dog in a clique of loser friends or the best of the best within a circle of elitists. Haters feel compelled to shine brightly and be the center of attention, as their self-esteem is directly connected to the inferiority of others. The pitiful truth is, haters have zero independent self-worth.
The moment you dare to outshine a hater, that egotistical maniac will attempt to firmly shove you back into the minion status you occupy in their life, as a hater’s ego cannot bear your happiness or success. There are a few ways a hater will try to accomplish that goal. Game on, haters will compete on every level until they discover some superior something that sets them above you once again. If, however they can’t find a win, that hater will remind you and anyone else willing to listen of who you were before you made it to the top, engage in sabotage, use you to better themselves, and/or take from you until you have nothing left. Well guess what? This is your life and you are in control of the role you play. Haters will never want you to follow your heart, chase your dreams, or achieve your goals. They feed off of the pain, loss, misery, and suffering of others just like any other blood sucking parasite would.
The key to recognizing a hater is very simple as they are adamantly against self-improvement unless the changes for the better are all about them, and not you. Haters use the nice-nasty approach to belittle and minimize your accomplishments all the while waiting for you to fail.
