It’s Time to take Control and Find your Best Job Ever
Have you ever started a new job only to find that you have a bad feeling in your stomach on the first day? It all sounded so good in the interviews, but now that you’ve arrived something just doesn’t feel right.
It’s like the joke about the woman who dies and goes to heaven, only to find out that all her friends and family went to hell. As much as heaven was a wonderful place she became very lonely. She asked Saint Peter if she might be able to visit hell to see if her friends were okay. The Devil was notified and permission was granted for a one-day visit.
When she arrived in hell she was quite surprised. While heaven was serene and quiet, hell was bustling with music and laughter, bars and restaurants and everyone seemed to be having fun. She had a wonderful time and found it hard to leave.
For the next few days she reflected on her experience and how much she missed her friends and family. She decided to approach Saint Peter and ask for permission to return to hell permanently. Imagine her surprise on returning to hell and it was, well … Hell … fire, brimstone, misery. In her dismay she turned to the Devil and asked what happened to all the parties and good times?
The Devil replied, That’s when we were recruiting you – now you’re ours!
Once you’ve been recruited, you may find that you are in such a bad job that you have to take another bad job just to escape! Let’s face it, there are a lot of bad jobs out there. Most of us have had jobs
