About this ebook

Would you forgive and forget ... or exact your revenge?
In LISTEN TO KATJA, the first short story in this collection, Katja and her younger sister are being marched along to a concentration camp in the dead of winter. Their fellow marchers are plotting an escape into the nearby forest, and Katja decides to go with them.
COSMIC VIOLET follows a young scientist taken captive by his own country and forced to commit horrible experiments on humans. Held in isolation, his cruel deeds torment him day and night. With no hope for freedom, he pursues his last and most permanent experiment.
TOO LONG features Jennifer, an unforgiving young woman, who's meeting up with her brother after almost ten years of separation. Brought together by the death of their mother, the two siblings try to get back to where they once were in their youth.
BRENTMOORE is the lightest of all the short stories in this collection, following a young man and the peculiar phone call he receives at the same time every day. He sets out to identify the caller and comes across a very odd situation, leaving him wanting to help out.
Finally, in LIKE CLOCKWORK, two detectives staking out a suspect find themselves at odds when the suspect strays from his predictable routine. Upon further inspection, the detectives learn that their suspect might not have been the one leading his strict life, and the person that has, is closer than they think.

Jerrica Rommel

Jerrica Rommel is a screenwriter and an aspiring novelist, focusing on the supernatural and fantasy genres. She is attending Full Sail University for a BFA in Creative Writing for Entertainment. Previous to Full Sail, Jerrica attended Minot State University where she co-wrote a student-lead feature length film. She is employed at one of the last remaining video rental stores, where she collects knowledge on movies and their writers. With a bigger than life personality but a not-so-big desire to be around crowds, Jerrica maintains a balance between the two by writing and exploring National Parks. She refuses death until she’s visited all the National Parks in the world. She can be reached at Jerrica.rommel@gmail.com.
