    It was a day of days for Brack. His mom never came home from work; there was a creature of Night at his window warning him of what was to come, and had he heeded the warning he wouldn’t have finished the day on a prison train heading for the Factory.
    Brack find himself sharing a cell with eight other convicts his age. They share an adventure of survival and coming of age that bonds them as brothers. They fight to help one another in the hard and violent world of the Factory. And at the end of their adventure, waiting patiently for his turn is Stanley Hursthouse, the King of Midnighters offering them a darker and more terrifying experience than that of the Bone Tower.
    Brack is a world building novella of childhood adventure set in a hard world of juvenile prison labour and the supernatural Midnighters - creatures of Night that have a special interest in Brack’s well-being.
