      Marla and Me

      High above the squalor and madness that constitute 5th Avenue on Christmas Eve, Trump is stuffing his swollen, carbuncled feet into a pair of fox fur slippers. The slippers are monogrammed with TRUMP, as is everything else in the opulent penthouse apartment at Trump Tower. He is not alone in this grandiloquent gilded cage. His wife, Melanoma, reclines leonine on a love seat - a miserably misnamed furnishing, considering that emotion has long been absent from this place. Melanoma sparkles like a diamond, princess cut and all hard angles.
