My name is Arnold Lacock. I am an ex-newspaper reporter/columnist/editor. I grew up in Bellville, Western Cape (South Africa). I studied Art and love to paint when I'm not writing. I write mainly poetry and fiction in Afrikaans. I have also written several plays. Currently I am involved in a cabaret (about love), which I wrote and which will go on stage in the near future. I actively take part and will be doing some of my poetry and prose in the production. I am also busy writing a children's book in English.My naam is Arnold Lacock. Ek is 'n oud koerant verslaggewer/rubriekskrywer/redakteur. Ek het opgegroei in Bellville in die Weskaap. Ek het kuns gestudeer en skilder graag wanneer ek nie skryf nie.Ek skryf hoofsaaklik gedigte en fiksie in Afrikaans. Ek het ook verskeie toneelstukke geskryf. Ek is tans betrokke by 'n kabaret (oor die liefde) wat ek geskryf het en wat binnekort opgevoer sal word. Ekself neem deel en doen van my gedigte en prosa daarin. Ek is tans ook besig om 'n kinderboek in Engels te skryf.
