About this series

Has it been too long since you've been scared? The long-awaited Ghost Hunting Diary Volume VI is finally here! Curl up in your favorite chair, set your favorite sipping beverage beside you, and settle in for another spooky ride into the paranormal.

You'll wander into Louisiana in "Cajun Crossovers," although it's not the ride you think it will be. Then back to Texas for some ride-alongs with Aunt Belle and her cohort, T. M., as they investigate the "Old Calvert Nursing Home" and granddaughter "Tara's Home." Yep, the SRT crew does "do" a cemetery again; graveyards after dark are still one of their favorite haunts. T.M. also continues her work to help lost, wandering souls in "Crossing Over Violent Death Victims." Then you'll see what happens when one of the nasties is able to breach Simmons' own house in "Demon at the Door."

If you feel some eyes watching you while you read, T.M. hopes it's not too far from your chair to the light switch on the wall. Sometimes it looks like quite a distance in a dark room where ghosts might be prowling, huh?

    Ghost Hunting Diary Volume I

This collection of ghost hunting diaries is a selection from those T. M. Simmons kept during her twenty years of adventures in the paranormal world. As a writer, she felt compelled to keep records of the encounters, and up until now, she has only shared these with a few friends and relatives. Encouraged by their interest, and the awe and sometimes apprehension on their faces, she is editing some of the dozens upon dozens of diaries in her files. Volume I contains Down the Ghost Trail, which chronicles the start of T. M. Simmons’ ghost hunting career at the haunted Myrtles Plantation in St. Francisville, Louisiana. Crossing Over explains how she learned to help lost souls cross into The Light. In Midnight Ferry, a late-night phone call sends her into a confrontation with a nasty ghost-witch who meant horrific harm. The other three stories are ones she chose as some of her favorites. She has also included a few definitions of her beliefs and the rules by which anyone whom she allows into her ghost hunting life must abide. These stories are true, and will be offered as preludes to each book of the upcoming fictional Dead Man mystery series. Dead Man Talking, which should be available as an ebook within a few days of this first volume, will be a fun, scary romp in the paranormal world. Part of the first chapter is included at the end. Note from T. M.: Now Available in E-books: Winter Prey Ghost Hunting Diary Volume II Ghost Hunting Diary Volume III Grave Yarns, a Collection of Short Stories Dead Man Talking Dead Man Haunt Lots of romances written as Trana Mae Simmons. Enjoy!!

This second collection of ghost hunting diaries is another selection from those T. M. Simmons kept during her twenty-plus years of adventures in the paranormal world. Naked Ghost, Oh, My! evolved from her encounter with Patrick at the Baker Hotel in Mineral Wells, Texas. That experience led to her second paranormal mystery, Dead Man Haunt, now also available in e-book format. Dead Time Ghosts is a tale of a happening at her own haunted house. Purity Perfidy relates the story of another house cleansing where ghosts bothering a child were successfully sent on their way. April Showers of Ghosts and Summer Solstice Ghost Hunt are cemetery investigations, wherein the investigators find proof of spirit communication. Shades of the Wild Wild West is another scary tale during a cemetery investigation, where one of her friends is attacked by an evil entity. In this volume, she has also added a couple extras for your enjoyment. These stories are true, and she hopes you also enjoy the excerpt from Dead Man Haunt, the fictional paranormal mystery included at the end.

Turn out the lights, stoke up the fire, and enjoy another set of true spooky tales from the cache of T. M. Simmons' ghost hunting diaries. Curious Capers of the Calvert Ghosts, Parts One and Two, are tales of true supernatural encounters in a haunted bed and breakfast in Calvert, Texas. Great-Grandpa and the Horseless Carriage tells of a meeting with one of the prominent members of Texas history, close to his beautiful historic home, Griffith Homeplace. Attack of the Evil Pickup is the true story of the first time Simmons ventured into the infamous Goshen Cemetery in East Texas. Sad Little Skateboard Ghost is a residual haunting tale (at least, Simmons hopes it is). How I Met My Haunted House is the story of how Simmons began to realize her home was, indeed, haunted by several paranormal boarders. Carl's County Farm relates the story of how Simmons and fellow paranormal investigator, Angela Rogers, banished a demon that was torturing and killing animals on a friend's farm. Simmons has again included some additional information about her life as a paranormal investigator. In this volume, she tells you what she carries in her ghost hunting vest. Also, you will finally meet Timmy Smith, her Paranormal Gear Tech. Finally, she has added a chapter of her forthcoming dark paranormal suspense, Winter Prey to close this volume. Perhaps you will be able to turn out the lights before you go to sleep after reading these tales. Perhaps not.

Boo! Turn up the lights and sit down to read more true ghost tales from the extensive collection of diaries T. M. Simmons kept over the years of her paranormal investigative career. Things do seem to go bump in the night when Simmons and her aunt prowl a haunted house or cemeteries during both dark and full moons. It's a scary Halloween all year round for this ghost hunter and her readers. In "St. James Jeepers Creepers" Simmons takes us to the extremely haunted St. James Hotel in Cimarron, New Mexico, where she and her aunt were given free access for two full nights of haunted chills and fun. "The Making of Barney the Believer" tells how her staid engineer husband grew to believe in the paranormal. Readers who follow Simmons will recall the problematic portal in a friend's house. "That Pesky Portal" is, hopefully, the conclusion of this saga. In the spring of 2012, she and her aunt finally managed to tour the haunted Prospect Place in the tiny village of Trinway, Ohio. "Possibilities of Prospect Place" relates their experiences there. Simmons always includes a scary tale, and "Hot Springs Heart Attack (Almost) won't fail in that regard. One day maybe Simmons will find out what evil entity tried to share her bed, but it's not high on her priority list. Readers ask questions and the two articles included in this volume of true ghost stories attempts to respond to some of those. "Four Psychic Reception Areas" explains the various areas of that enjoyable but illusive Sixth Sense. "How to Tell if You Have a Haunting, and What to Do" isn't a complete guide to understanding whether or not a ghost is haunting you. The reason for that is because no one understands everything about the paranormal. However, it might give you a start and point you to further assistance. This volume of diaries is being released at the same point in time as Simmons new paranormal mystery, Dead Man Hand. Both are available for numerous e-reading devices.

Get comfortable and settle in for another eerie, spooky ride into the supernatural with T. M. Simmons' latest: Ghost Hunting Diary Volume V. Parts of some tales will make you chuckle at the ghostly antics, and perhaps the reactions of the investigators. Others will have you glancing around to assure yourself there are no monsters in the room with you. Haunted Beckham Hotel Investigation recaps an overnight paranormal exploration Simmons' Supernatural Researchers of Texas team was requested to do at a historical hotel in Mineola, Texas. SRT confirmed a high level of paranormal activity, so much there is an extra with this tale and more on the horizon. Be Careful What you Conjure Up, Escaping Halloween Arrest, and Meeting Billy the Cowboy are all diaries of less expansive but just as interesting paranormal experiences involving Simmons and her crew, along with others at times. They all lead up to Hell House of Horrors, another demon story, with its own extra. Although Simmons was far too experienced to allow herself to become involved with this evil entity, she tried to guide the relatives who were in harm's way ... not to much avail. As always, she has included two learning articles: My Favorite Meditation and Recommended Reading and Study. She closes with an excerpt from her upcoming dark paranormal, Silent Prey. Sit a spell and read the tales with or without the lights on, depending on what you want your level of fright to be.
