    Chapter 1: Getting Back Home

The trip back home was too short. The vacation had been wonderful but now they would have to return home. The time spent with the dragons caused Rain to have more questions. Now he was a real chatterbox.

Mr. ONE EYE, where did you get all these dragons? Who tamed them for you? What do you feed them?

Rain, why don’t you walk back through the bazaar one more time. You can talk to the dragons. I need to talk to One Eye a little bit.

Rain didn’t have to be asked twice. Off he rushed. He went back to see the Gemosh first. He patted and rubbed him all around his head. He found a ticklish spot under his chin that made him scratch one foot. This pleased Rain so much that he giggled out loud. What a wonderful time he had had.

Next he went to the Whooper’s cage. He wanted to remember how the other Whoopers had helped him. He didn’t want to get the little dragon too excited. He knew the loud scream would give him a headache.
