Or is there a darker side to Emma’s beautiful vampire that even his growing obsession for her can’t control. Follow along with book 4 in the Vampire’s slave series to find out.
THE VAMPIRE’S SLAVE STORY:
A vampire doomed to live his life in a dark prison, Val has become used to the sick sadistic games his captors love to play. Time and time again he’s been forced to defile young virgins for his master’s entertainment and evil plans, but when a young beauty called Emma is thrust into Val’s world he finds himself unwilling to play his part in her torment.
Val is determined to protect Emma at all costs including making her submit to his will just to keep her alive. But will his innocent beauty accept what he has to do to keep her from harm or will every move that he makes drive her further away?
Emma is no stranger to sadness and isolation, but after she’s kidnapped and thrown in a dark prison with a near crazed vampire she learns the true meaning of feeling alone. Although she knows the monster lurking in the shadows doesn’t want to cause her pain, she also knows he has no choice but to comply with his captors will. No one is out to find her, no one’s going to notice she’s gone. Her only hope of getting out of the darkness alive is to trust the twisted stranger that shares her cell.
As the horror of her situation unfolds, Emma must decide whether to place her faith and her body in the hands of a monster from her darkest dreams or to give up and beg for death? Can Val keep her safe long enough for her to make her escape or will she be doomed to live as a vampire’s slave forever?

A million bruises lined Emma’s soul as she wearily prised open the window to her dusky apartment on the first floor of her rundown building. Her heart ached for all she’d been though, everything she’d seen and now could never take back. Was she even alive now or was she truly dead? Her confused brain didn’t know anymore.
The impenetrable wall of anger that’d clothed her since she’d woken from her vampire death, began to unravel as she stepped further into the small comfort of her home. The pale crystal of the tacky chandelier hanging above her tiny studio apartment flickered to life as she flipped the switch and stared in mixed horror and happiness around her home. Had life changed so much since the last time she’d walked out her front door? Had she really been the forced sex slave of an imprisoned vampire and his cruel captive for so long. How long had it been? At the sudden onslaught of reality Emma slid, finally broken to her knees. The rough wooden floor beneath did little to cushion her fall. The shivers she’d been holding back on her walk home quickly coated her skin. The crisp cool air she tried to force in and out of her lungs lodged itself in her throat every time she tried to take a shuddering breath. Was she not meant to breathe anymore? Experimentally Emma stilled her chest, waiting desperately for the onslaught of panic to assail her as her body forced itself to still. Nothing came. As time slipped along, she waited, prayed somehow that her heart would begin to cave in. Anything to remind her that she’d gotten out of the prison alive. As the clock, sat proudly on her mantle, ticked on idly she slowly lost hope. She’d died today, her heart had stopped beating before she’d made it out of the cell. Whether she’d stood up and walked home from the crumpled rubbish at the back of a nightclub or she stayed lifeless amidst the alcohol bottles and old food cartons, Alex had evidently won. She was dead.
Cold tears tracked down her cheeks, falling one by one onto the dirty t-shirt Alex and his men had hastily dressed her in. Thinking back as far as her mind would dare to allow, she recalled his cruel voice as he’d ordering his goons to dress her in anything quickly before they cruelly dumped her body down a back alley road. It seemed he’d chosen to make it look as though she’d been out partying and sadly become the victim of a drunken night gone wrong. Speedily lacing the now torn up T-shirt with dribbles of their whiskey and soda, they’d dragged her lifeless body from the prison cell and dumped her dead at the side of the road.
As Emma carefully inspected the hideous ensemble they’d shoved her in before dragging her away from Val, she realised with terror they must have belonged to Alex or one of his men. They certainly weren’t the ones she’d been thrown in with when she was first dragged into hell. The knowledge caused Emma’s skin to crawl and the fresh wave of uncontrollable disgust tracking down her spine drove her to tear at the thin cloth with her bruised hands. Shreds of thin cotton and soft jersey flew from her skin in a fit of rage, the fabrics touch feeling too much like Alex’s hands smoothing lecherously along her body. Every screaming tear laced Emma’s mind with the memory of thick red welts scouring her delicate backside. How had she lived through such torture? Her mind didn’t know. If it wasn’t for the muffled scent of a dark vampire still upon her skin she’d probably have chosen to believe it had been nothing but a dark nightmare unleashed from the worst depths of her mind. Yet the soft call of a deep voice promising her it would all be okay reminded her that wasn’t so.
Out there, probably being violently beaten and punished for her murder was the vampire who’d saved her life. Val had given up on himself to save her from a fate worse than anything she’d ever known. He’d offered her a quick death for the chance that she could reach a better life than the one he’d endured for so long. A life in which her body and mind wouldn’t be controlled, tortured and beaten by the human monster that intruded into her and Val’s cell each night. Even if that meant he would never see her again.
As he’d drove himself inside her delicate skin with his hard fangs, her mind had finally lost all control. She’d been forced, in that moment, to give up any hope she had left of escaping Alex alive. She’d felt her life seep from the jagged cuts in her throat and wondered idly how she’d ever gotten it all so wrong. The only being she’d ever come close to in her life had eventually become the one to take it all. She’d had so few friends in her short existence, no real family to love. The only footprints of her life on Earth, the few cheap items she’d brought over time that now sat gathering dust in her cold dreary apartment on the bad side of town. As she finally resumed the useless act of breathing if for nothing else but to calm her nerves, she tried desperately to remind herself mentally that Val had taken her life only to protect her from the horror that was to come. Who knew what Alex would have done if Val hadn’t of taken his chance when he could. She may of took her last real breath in that prison but she’d thankfully been liberated from hell back into the world. Still present, still living in a sense and now with the power to be able to right the wrongs that had been done to her and Val.
At the thought of the vampire still locked inside Alex’s prison cell, Emma knew her time for wallowing in her terror and sadness was gone. Although the nights in Alex’s jail had broken her down to almost nothing, it had also somehow moulded and brutally shaped her bones into something more. For too long she’d let herself exist in a world that repeatedly beat her to the floor. Alex’s actions only adding to the dominance that life had forced on her almost every day since she’d been born. So she’d grown up with no family, big deal. She should have used
