Dougherty Banks and his two crew, Dexter 'Dex' Khynnes and Maddeline 'Maddie' Luirra, go in search of the past on Aestralus 13. But what they find is more than they bargained for. Told by the guardians of Aestralus 13, the Noghnonians, that the planet is uninhabited, have a choice to make when they find the planet it isn't uninhabited; that the Noghnonians lied to them. But, will the past come back to life and destroy them before they can escape?
