Hi friendsI'd like to ask a favor, not just for me but for all writers. PLease when we offer a free book, it would be wonderful if you'd take the time to rate the book. This doesn't take much time out of your day and authors really apreciate your time to do this. I know not everyone wants to sit down and write a review, but rating the book will help as well. And a big thanks to all who do this. You never know how much an author appreciates you taking the time to do this.I finally finished The Car Stalker. Hope you'll check it out. This is the second book in the stalker series. Like I said mystery is much different from romance all though there are elements in romance in my stalker books too. I've done multi jobs in my lifetime giving me a variety of experiences to write and talk about. I've done many different kinds of work from Texas Instruments, to City of Garland, to working for the Wylie Independent School District. I've worked for a hat factory, filing insurance claims, secretarial work, to waitress work. My writing reflects my varied background. Another note I've had a in home day care for twenty years too. So when I write about something I have a general knowledge of it too, which is a real bonus for me. Just like my public work, my writing varies too from contemporary to historical, I write romance, thrillers, children's. A lot of people might say gee, that's a lot of different jobs, and it is, but, I've learned from them all, and I use that experience in my writing.I want to thank all the readers over a length of time that have tried some of my books. Chapter One

I gotta talk to you Riley! Nick Stevens was bustling through the crowd going into the science room to get Riley's attention.

Mrs. Mullins the teacher shot him a quick warning over her glasses.

Later, Riley threw him a glance as she flopped into the seat of her desk.

Riley Coleman began taking notes as soon as class started. She stole a glance at Nick, who sat on the other side of the room, and then she glanced at the teacher who was going over yesterday's assignment.

Mrs. Mullins had separated them at the first of the year for talking too much.

It wasn't as if they both weren't excellent students. Still he was her boyfriend and everyone knew it.

Riley smudged her paper with her eraser, frustrated she tried to correct it and it got worse. She stared at the smudge. That smudge was how she felt right now. Unfixable.

She glanced at Nick, her heart melting when he smiled at her. She drew a heart on her paper. Then thinking about him going to Michigan State next fall, she drew an arrow through it, then in almost tears, scribbled over it.

Her thoughts were not on the assignment, but on Nick.

How could she concentrate with his football scholarship coming between them? Not that she blamed Nick. It was a great opportunity for him.

Still, how did you get engaged to a guy who wouldn't be there any longer? And they were on the brink on an engagement, that was fact. She'd dated him all through high school. Now he was leaving. How did one cope?

She was sick of worrying about it, sick of talking about it, and just plain sick.

The bell rang and all the kids walked out into the hallway. It didn't take long for the hallway to become congested. It literally stunk in the hallway, with sweaty armpits, and dirty socks. A locker room couldn't smell worse.

With so many going from one class to another, it was like a congested highway, darting in and out of the traffic.

Riley purposely lagged behind, waiting until he disappeared in the crowd. She pushed a strand of her hair from her face.

What was the use talking, he made up his mind to go, and she wouldn't be changing that?

It wasn't fair because she loved him. It was hopeless.

Riley was one of the most popular girls in school. She got good grades, had joined the debate team, the cheerleading squad and was in dance. Nick thought she was the cutest girl in school, and he told her so every day. He fed her self-confidence.

Nick saw her but he couldn't get through the crowd in the hall.

She headed for her dance class now.

He'd stayed behind to talk to her, purposely. But she moved in
