Born in Anguilla in the Caribbean in 1942, I have been lover of words from very early, playing with them in the dirt, on sand and on all types of paper, including brown cement bag.During my university years (1963-66) in Barbados, I was lucky to get short stories published in the leading newspaper. Titles include “The crane lift which was to be his last” and “The day the topless came to town”.In 1970, I completed a full novel with the same name; and, proceeded to write the play shortly thereafter. Unfortunately, both manuscripts were lost in a hurricane. If you google Anguilla Spoken Word, from 1:42 into the video, you will see me, in my golden years, breaking my public speaking phobia, I being the second guest presenter.I invite you to read and enjoy my salvaged poetic pieces. If you feel satisfied, please spread the word; and, also look out very soon for my biography and other works.

This story is fiction about a political race for President to rule the world's #1 superpower called USofAir.

In these modern times, with cutting edge technology, androids that look like humans are living among us; and, thus, there are two identical worlds that coexist today. It is as though there is a perfect clone for each and every person, thing and place.

10,001 reasons why Hillary will win! is a fiction that seeks to give as realistic as possible a picture of the political landscape in USofAir, the duplicate of America the world's most advanced democracy.

Thus, any resemblance to any person living or dead anywhere in the real world is intended; for, it is inevitable that there be resemblances and duplications to real life people with regard to names, places, institutions, groups, associations, conversations and situations. However, no malice is intended and none should be taken.

This author is not a biographer of any living or dead person named or aliased Hillary or Trumpf; no, of any persons in real life where a comparison might be believed to exist in this fiction; neither does he profess to be an authority on any of them; nor, a spokesman or representative for any of them.

Neither does this author seek to denigrate or praise any person living or dead where some comparison with a character or characters in this fiction might be perceived; neither does he seek or profess to support or advocate against any real life political campaign or anyone’s aim or desire to be the President from either the Republican or Democratic parties in the USofAir or their perceived duplicates in the real world.

Instead, this author merely seeks to paint an intriguing real life political scenario where the central humanoid actors each use their skill and craft to reach out to their party supporters and the electorate in general; and, to show how elections are won or lost through networking, insult, deceit, accusations, passion, demagoguery, pandering, controversy, comedy, oratory and other means.

Foreword

A seat in USofAir's Oval Office requires the same mandatory 270 of the 538 electoral college votes as in the real life super power.

According to the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), Donald Trumpf is expected to win 21 States for a total of 170 electoral votes; while, Hillary, the former Secretary of State, will likely win 20 States plus Washington, DC for a total of 253 electoral votes.

The prognosis is of the nine States the EIU identifies as up for grabs, Hillary needs to win only three; but, Trumpf needs to make up ground in seven which can be difficult or next to impossible.

A recovering USofAir economy is also working in Hillary’s favour.

Joseph Lake, Director of global forecasting at the Economist Intelligence Unit, went on to state that in years where the economy is doing quite well, the incumbent [party] in the White House often wins… and the economy... has been recovering for seven years in a row now.

It is a also strongly believed that the country’s changing demographics, too, are in Hillary’s favor.

There is a claim that USofAir is even less white currently than when Mitt Romney lost in 2012. Drawing on this, the reasoning is that Trumpf would have to secure a far larger portion of white voters than Republican candidates have in the past to win the presidency.

For instance, in Texas, the Hispanic vote has gone up to about 30%, causing veteran Republican John McCain some worry about retaining his seat.

Trumpf’s statement on this possibility caused senior Establishment members to further distance themselves from him.

An August Politico article said 70% of the GOP insiders want Trumpf to drop out; but, 55% of voters on either side feel that his ego will not let him.

I’d rather take our chances with nearly anyone else than continue with this certain loser who will likely cost the Senate and much more, said a New Hampshire Republican.

The effect Trumpf is having on down-ballot races has the potential to be devastating in November, added a Florida Republican. His negative image among Hispanics, women and independents is something that could be devastating to Republicans. Trumpf’s divisive rhetoric to the Hispanic community at large has the potential to be devastating for years to come.

But, it all boilds down to the fact that a wealth of positives exists with and for her; for, among a long list of other differences, he has mere brawn, she has varied beauty; he's impatient and impulsive, she's patient and calculative; he's crass, she has class; he's a novice, she has been in the Oval Office; he malleable, she's reliable; he's infamous, she's famous; he's unsteady, she's ready; and, he's definitely wrong for the job, while she's right!

Because of the vast opposing differences that the electorate can readily discern and are largely aware of, Hiliary will decisively win the November 8 Presidential election; and, there are 10,001 and more reasons why this is so!

Chapter 1 - Iconic Harvard Republican Club rejects Trumpf!

The oldest College Republicans chapter in the nation rejected Trumpf in an August 4 press release in which it announced that, for the first time since its inception in 1888, it would not be endorsing the GOP's nominee for President.

Just the simple news of this would have resonated across the width and breadth of USofAir; so, think of the damning impact it will have on Trumpf's chances.

It's only fitting - indeed seemingly mandatory - to give you the salient portions for you to peruse for yourself; and, come to your own conclusions.

It stated, In every presidential election since 1888, the members and Executive Board of the Harvard Republican Club have gathered to discuss, debate, and eventually endorse the standard-bearer of our party. But for the first time in 128 years, we, the oldest College Republicans chapter in the nation, will not be endorsing the Republican nominee.

The ultra-clear stated decision was followed by reasons for making the historic act, namely, Donald Trumpf holds views that are antithetical to our values not only as Republicans, but as USofAirans. The rhetoric he espouses - from racist slander to misogynistic taunts - is not consistent with our conservative principles, and his repeated mocking of the disabled and belittling of the sacrifices made by prisoners of war, Gold Star families, and Purple Heart recipients is not only bad politics, but absurdly cruel.

The Club released its decision via posting to their official Facebook, Twitter and Medium pages.

Of course, it was quickly picked up and widely noted by credible news outlets; and, of course, some readers who encountered it via social media (would be) were skeptical about its origins!

But, the damage was already done - the Club's decision
