Dedication
I want to dedicate this book to my friend, the Holy Spirit, who has guided every season of my life. I would like to thank my parents, whom I admire deeply for the eternal impact they have made on my life. To my husband Eliemerson, who is my other half and with whom we have raised up a generation for God.
And of course to the three most special women in my life:
Shailoh Victoria,
Rachel Eliana,
and Emmanuelle.
Foreword
As a mother prayed for her daughters, she asked God to give her an idea to explain to her girls that regardless of what happened, God had made them very valuable. When her girls got home from school, as they prepared a hot cup of tea and some sweet cupcakes, she showed them a new, crisp $100 bill. She asked her daughters, who seemed to be fascinated by the bill, What could you do with this $100 bill?
After listening to their very creative answers, she wrinkled the bill, threw it on the ground and stepped on it. Then she asked them again, What about now? What could you do with this bill?
Her daughters, surprised at what had taken place, answered that they could still do what they had planned. Although the bill had been beaten, wrinkled, and stepped on, it had not lost its value.
Since the beginning of creation, the Father’s plan was to have the garden ready for His daughter, Eve, to enjoy. His desire was for her to lead a full life, to enjoy the blessing of being a mother, a wife, a friend, a partner, a leader, a sister, a grandmother, etc. However, because of sin, Eve lost the opportunity to enjoy God’s dream, and as time went on, the devil has tried to rob women of their God-given value. The good news is that when Jesus came to Earth, He recovered what Eve had lost!
Although Jesus came to heal, to deliver and to give His life as a ransom for many, He also did something marvelous for every woman. He restored the dignity and honor that they had lost! While Jesus was here on Earth, He spoke to the Samaritan woman. The Lord sat by the well and, as He spoke to her, He gave her His water to drink, and even made her an evangelist. He also received the adulteress woman, not to stone her, but to love and give her an opportunity. Jesus not only healed the woman with the issue of blood of her physical condition, but also of the emotional pain caused by years of rejection when He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you."
I know God led my daughter, Johanna, to write this book to remind every woman that her value has not been lost, and that there is great honor in being a woman. This book will crown you with beauty as a wife, daughter, mother, and of course, as a woman. You will learn to be a brave woman, a faithful woman, a wise woman and even … a romantic woman!
God has given you the great honor to reproduce life, and if you have lost hope in this dream of bearing fruit, the Holy Spirit will come upon you and cover you with His comforting shadow. This is how you will conceive the dreams you have desired because you have sought favor in the eyes of the Lord. As you find the Beauty of Being a Woman, you will be able to lift up a generation for God as He transforms you into a brave warrior. He will use you to change the story of your home, city and nation.

Chapter 1
Women who stand firm
I was born in a Christian home, my parents have always loved the Lord and as a family we have attended church as long as I can remember. Although for a long time I went to church, I still had not met God personally. As I entered my teen years, I began to feel the pull of the world stronger than that of the church and a battle broke out in my mind because of the decisions I was making.
The truth is, I knew the world couldn’t give me what I really wanted and I desired to encounter a living God so I could be born again. So, I began to pray every night in my secret place: my closet. They were nights and days of persevering in crying out to the Lord. I remember one day I had a vision; I saw a multitude of people walking towards the edge of a cliff but there was no one to warn them of the danger. That day, a great desire entered my heart to be a messenger of His good news. I longed to share the message of salvation. With all my strength, I asked the Lord to give me a chance, and that night, when I least expected it, in the middle of my prayer, I had a supernatural experience that changed everything. Jesus came into my room, I was on my knees praying and I felt Him get closer and place His hand on my head. I felt a kind of love I had never perceived before and a great peace came over me, which surpasses all understanding. That day I was born again and I was never the same after that. This relationship with God has led me to be a woman who stands firm in Him.
LET’S LEARN FROM EVE
We can learn so much from the first couple. In their story we find the desire of God’s heart for the human race. When God created Eve, He placed her in a beautiful garden called the Garden of Eden. That place had everything she needed to lead an extraordinary life, to create a unique home, and to be a woman who led a full life. In the Garden, Adam learned to take care of the land; it was the place where he found his gifts and talents. God gave them a beautiful place, but also the responsibility to care for it and work it.
Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.
(Genesis 2:22).
FORMATION
I have learned that in order for God’s purpose to be fulfilled in my life, first I must allow the Spirit of God to form His character in me. Maybe you are asking yourself, How can I allow the Holy Spirit to mold His character in me?
After I had my first supernatural experience with Jesus, I determined in my heart to get involved in the church’s activities. I did not want my life to revolve around my school friends or social life, but rather around the calling I felt so strongly in my heart. I still had a social life, but now, I focused on edifying myself by going to cell group every week and sharing times of prayer with my friends. We would motivate each other to fast and get together early to intercede. Our conversations weren’t about cute guys, but what we were doing for God. I opened my own cell group, I prayed and visited the young people, motivated them to attend an Encounter, and so forth. I began to see incredible miracles.
What was God doing in me during this time? He was working inside my heart, molding His character in me and leading me to do things His way.
The Lord can begin to form your character when you stop focusing on the things of this world and start seeking the kingdom of God and His righteousness. For this reason, even if you are a single woman, as you wait for the man God has for you, the best thing you can do is get involved in ministry. If you have young children, allow them to participate as much as they can in the house of God. This will bring protection over them, and is the best way for Jesus to shape their lives.
The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
(Genesis 2:9).
And the Lord God commanded the man,
You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die." (Genesis 2:16-17).
BOUNDARIES
In my Junior year of high school, I was encountering a lot of pressure from the world. I remember I was invited to a party and knew I should not go because it was against our house rules, but I chose to go anyway, overstepping those boundaries. I went to the party and just like any other place where evil reigns, sin was displayed like a great banquet. For a moment I felt like the prodigal son must’ve felt. I thought, What am I doing in this place?
My heart began to beat really fast and a veil was removed for me to see what was going on spiritually. I saw how the evil spirits mocked every young person in that place. I could see the face and filth of every demon in that place. In that instant I reacted and a desire to
