    As most people in life, I have struggled with depression. I found writing poetry to be therapeutic to the soul. I found peace love and acceptance through my poetry. The biggest life change for me was my travels to Hawaii where I found Spirituality. This allowed me to find forgiveness in those who have done me wrong in my existence. Through my writing I have eliminated toxic friendships, I have been able to walk away from relationships that have chained me down making me feel worthless. The Writer's Pen will be a delight to read.

    Kyle Christensson

    Kyle Christensson’s journey into writing began when he first moved to Vancouver in February of 2000. His first book ‘In Solitary Confinement’’ was published in 2004 focusing on the trials and tribulations of his adolescents. His second book ‘Embracing the Beauty Within’ published in 2006 is a spiritual journey of self-discovery, and his latest book ‘The Writer’s Pen’ released in 2009 is about growth and acceptance. Kyle’s poem ‘Embracing the beauty of life’ was highly praised by a local Hawaiian for his spiritual intuition. He is considered to be Hawaiian in Canadian skin. Kyle represented Poetry Around the World at ‘The Summer Dream Arts and Literary Festival’ in 2007 and 2008 and has read from his work at a number of venues in Vancouver, Burnaby, Port Moody and New Westminster .
