    Today I have finished my 1000 plus poems. Some I will post for free, some I will hide in darkness and some I will sell as justification of my time spent and the love poems i will lock away just for me.Still, I have decided to stay with free verse riddled with humor. I know my peers frown upon my work which just drives me berserk. I do not judge others harshly even if I disagree with their work.So, with that in mind, I will just write them into one or more of my poems for others to laugh at as relive their pain and mine.So please continue with me on my lengthy journey because it is going to be a wild ride, I've only scratched the surface of two brain cells to date, 100,000 more to go!Feel free to be positive about my writings and if you feel the need to be negative do what I do when I take a poop, flush the unwanted crap down the drain.

      A Taste Of My Thoughts Volume 4 - Steve Lake

      Preface

      The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. I have seen this movie a hundred times and it proves there is a place for everything.

      Much like the poetry I write. I judge it, I rewrite it and then I categorize it to fall into this title. I have my favorites (the good) and I have the others (the bad) and the ones I hope I don’t offend anyone (the ugly). I understand that I would be truly blessed if within my volumes you would find a speck of gold to fill your pockets with joy. Being a realist and knowing what I see through my eyes will not be your vision. What I interpret as funny you may find as insults. When you read my writings you may accept them as not written for your caliber but for the simple minded. I will keep in mind you have your own opinions and with great respect I will ask if it doesn’t work for you sober please try them under the influence of your favorite substance legal or not. Nothing is perfect until you accept it and with that my thanks and gratitude for a moment to influence a laugh in your life.
