    I grew up in small town Arkansas on my grandparents farm which only fed my ever growing love of animals. I eventually went on to join the ARMY and move to Virginia, Mississippi, and Kentucky before returning to Arkansas. I am the proud mom of two wonderful teens and a very spoiled pit bull who is convinced he is a baby. I love escaping the day to day life with writing, reading, traveling and cooking.
