Daily Reflections
by Masami Saionji
It is every human being’s duty and responsibility to give themselves a life filled with happiness and gratitude.
Our past cause and effect does not have any real existence of its own. All we need to do is fling our smudges from yesterday into our prayers of today and let them be washed away; then, they will vanish instantly.
Only when we break free of all tendencies to lean on others will we open up a radiant path to self-fulfillment.
Negating ourselves is the one obstacle that destroys the infinite possibilities that span out before us.
Those who live with confidence in their ultimate truth, without being carried adrift by the current trends of fixed ideas and assumptions, are those who can be called divinely conscious people.
The same incident can bring us happiness or unhappiness, depending on whether we interpret it as fortune or misfortune.
‘Limitation’ is an illusion—a fixed idea that we ourselves created.
The moment you make up your mind that you are originally a radiant, shining being, the path to your divine awareness opens wide.
When we pray for world peace even one time, our prayer echoes eternally around us and resonates throughout the world.
Every person, no matter who it is, is a manifestation of divine life itself. The crimes people commit are simply the results of mistaken choices they made at the time.
When we sever our habit of constantly looking outside ourselves for answers to our problems, then, for the first time, we will stand on our own two feet.
The very existence of people who pray for world peace is saving the world from its present crises.
The divine mind never judges anything we do. It is we who judge ourselves.
