Elizabeth Gilbert, who has a degree in political science and has travelled all over the world, is a journalist, including for the prestigious New York Times Magazine. She published her first novel, Stern Men, in 2000, followed by The Last American Man in 2002. However, it was not until four years later, with her bestselling memoir Eat, Pray, Love, that she became famous.
In 2010, she released another autobiographical narrative, Committed: A Skeptic Makes Peace with Marriage, and her latest novel, The Signature of All Things (2013), cemented her popularity with readers. Gilbert’s prose stands out for its fluidity, and her writing
